Richard G. Green, 1940-

Mohawk

Richard Green is a Turtle Clan Mohawk, and was born in 1940 in Ohsweken on the Nations Reserves. In 1973 he became an editor on the staff of Indian Voice Magazine, to which he contributed short stories. In 1980 his cartoons began to appear in Native publications throughout North America. Green lives on the Six Nations Reserve, and is a writing instructor at Six Nations Polytechnic and has also taught Native Studies at Mohawk College.
