Ethelou Yazzie participated in a joint effort with the Board of the Rough Rock Demonstration School in Chinle, Arizona to document the unwritten history of the Navajo people. Her work collected the stories of Four World, Changing Woman, Spider Woman, the Twins, Coyote, and other Navajo legends and traditional stories.
