Devon Mihesuah
, 1957-

Mihesuah is a Professor of History at Northern Arizona University and an enrolled member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. She received her PhD in 1989 from Texas Christian University. She is the editor of American Indian Quarterly, and the author of numerous articles and books.

1992 NAU Outstanding Faculty Woman of the Year Award
1993 NAU President’s Award for Outstanding Faculty
1994 Native American Students United Award for Outstanding Faculty
