Throughout history , the government makes a few decisions that benefit the country. These actions have both positive and negative effects. Two actions taken by government that impacted the nation are the passing of the 19th amendment and the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. These two examples are great ways to show how the government tried to benefit the nation. The 19th amendment grants freedom to vote for all women. Women were granted the right to be just like men. Women were denied many things like jobs, an education, and the right to vote.
