The 9/11 memorial has only been open for five year so it is surprising that it is so popular. Over 300,000 people have already visited the 9/11 memorial. It’s making a lots of money because the cheapest tickets are $24 and the cheapest tour is $39, and that is per person. Also on the webpage you are able to donate. The reason it is so expensive is because they need to keep it open, and the rest of the money goes the the other buildings they are building. They have already finished one building it is the new world trade center. Thats amazing how many people have already been at the 9/11 memorial.
