Many Athletic Trainers only go through four years of college to receive their Bachelors Degree (“Athletic Trainers and Exercise Physiologists: Occupational Outlook Handbook:: U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics”). If they want to become even more successful and progress further into their field of work they will continue their education and receive their Masters Degree from an accredited college. Next, they then have to receive a certification test to become certified and licensed. Then once they receive all this education and certifications then they can proceed into their field of work.

Students who want to become a successful athletic trainer must graduate from a bachelor’s degree at minimum and they may also need a master’s degree. To become an athletic trainer you must graduate with a degree in Athletic Training from an accredited athletic training program and successfully pass the Board of Certification Exam. Three colleges that I can attend that would allow me to obtain this degree would be Kean University, Montclair State University, and Seton Hall University.
