For example, on the day of 9/11 in New York terrorist they destroyed the World Trade Center, and damaged the Pentagon near Washington D.C and on Pearl Harbor December 7, 1941 the Empire of Rising sun sank most of the U.S Pacific fleet in Hawaii. These 2 specific events have a huge impact on America and the whole nation. Because of the attacks on pearl harbor and 9/11 there was a lot of hate and racism too japanese and islamic people. Prejudice became more common toward each race.
I remember a teacher walking into my English classroom to tell my English teacher that a plane had crashed into one of the Twin Towers. At that point, it was unclear what had happened, and it wasn 't until the second plane crashed that it became clear that it was a terrorist attack. Since that day, there has been an increase in border security and more surveillance activity on
On this day 4 American planes were hijacked by terrorists. These ¾ planes had hit some pretty important buildings that killed lots of people. The first plane had hit the World Trade Center. The second plane had hit the Twin Towers. The third one hit the Pentagon.
Pearl Harbor and the attacks on the world trade centers on September 11, 2001 also known as 9/11 were both events where thousands of innocent lives were taken at the hands of foreign attackers that entered our country. In both of these events thousands of lives were ended by foreign terrorists. Pearl Harbor and the attacks on 9/11 are both very symbolic in our nation’s history. First, on December 7, 1941 one the of the nation’s largest naval bases stationed in Honolulu, Hawaii called Pearl Harbor was attacked by surprise by the Japanese in hope of eliminating a large amount of our fleets so Japan could expand. The Japanese destroyed almost 20 American naval vessels, including eight huge battleships, and more than 300 airplanes.

Andrew Cuomo, New York governor, claims that they will find the person or people who committed this violent act, and justice will be done. The Oklahoma City bombing took place on April 19, 1995. There were hundreds of victims and hundreds of family and friends of those victims. Even though this event happened nearly 20 years ago, it still reminds me of service, honor, and kindness, the foundation of the American standard. Right after the incident, police rushed to the scene and started to rescue the people that were trapped or injured.
The events that occurred on September, 11, 2001 were among the most catastrophic events in American history. The events of the day were summarized as 19 militants associated with the terror group al-Qaeda hijacked four airplanes and carried out targeted attacks in the United States. Out of the four planes, two of them were flown into the World Trade Center in New York, a third one into the Pentagon in Washington and the fourth one crashing off course into a field. The attacks resulted in the deaths of over 3000 people and the beginning of a soon to come American counter terrorism policy and the subsequent invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq. Although there are a lot of conspiracy theories around the real motives and players behind the attack,
Smoke and debris filled the air. Thousands of people’s lives changed in a matter of minutes. 168 people including nineteen innocent children lost their lives because of one person’s decision. On April 19,1995, Oklahoma history was changed forever. Timothy McVeigh bombed the Alfred P. Murrah building and it was “the worst act of terrorism in American history” (Isikoff).
The killing of the Al-Qaeda leader, which is a Radical Islamic Terrorist Group, founded in the 1980 's by Osama Bin Laden, was a huge justice in the U.S. and other countries. Bin Laden posed a global threat to the countries where Islam is not implemented, he was responsible for the September, 11th attacks back in 2001. He orchestrated it, and had it planned for months, he was planning more attacks on the U.S. after 9/11 as well. ("The World Trade Center History.")
