As a witness to The Boston Massacre as a Patriot as an English citizen, I believe that the British Soldiers are unstable to protect us if they will kill us. The acts that lead up to the killing of five patriots were downgrading us. After are Victory in the French and Indian War we became in debt. The British officials decided to make laws such as Writs of Assistance, Sugar Act, Quartering Act, Stamp Act and the Proclamation of 1763 and more were soon made. This just anger us so a boycott was made called The Sons of Liberty the leader was Samuel Adams. We also burnt some effigies but that is no excuse for killing five patriots. Thing got worst the soldiers stared stealing from us and breaking into are shops. The thing that really got
After the shooting, the people of Boston demanded that the soldiers be tried and executed for the shooting. Two soldiers were found guilty of manslaughter. This whole incident is outrageous. There isn't any need to result to violence when something goes wrong.

On March 5, 1770 the Boston Massacre took place. The Boston Massacre was about a group of British soldiers who killed a group of people during a riot. That is what got colonist to rise up and start an attack. It is said in an online article, BOSTON MASSACRE, that, “ The killings of March 5, promptly termed a “massacre” by Patriot leaders and commemorated in a widely circulated engraving by Paul Revere, aroused intense public protests and threats of violent retaliation.” This massacre was the start of war for colonists.
the historical events that i learned was that i did in my history class was that i learned about the boston tea party. The reason why i chose the boston tea party was that i think that it played an important role in what made america in the beginning. The boston tea party was when the sons of liberty where going to make sure that the british were going to leave them alone so the poured out all the tea into the boston harbor. The colonist would try to team up with the indians to help them even out the numbers because the were out numbered by hundreds of troops. But the indians refused to help the colonist because they thought that they would be betrayed and the colonist would kill them.
Call me a tory or not, but the british in the Boston Massacre were not guilty of murder and opening fire on crowd for no reason. The british completely and utterly acted in self defense on March 5,1770. Know you might say well they placed taxes on us… NEWS FLASH… this is about whether this is murder or done in self defense, not taxes. Trust me this king’s Street mess was definitely in self defense.
Today the bloody massacre happend in boston. There was a group of protesters throwing snowballs, sticks, and stones at a squad of British soldiers. They responded by shooting into the riot of people. The event ended up killing 3 people and right now they say that 8 others are wounded. The presence of the British in Boston is becoming more and more unwelcome.
Although there are many reasons why the American Revolution started, a few of them had a larger consequence. First, the Boston Massacre had a major impact on the American Revolution. To continue, another instigator to the colonists seeking their independence was the Boston Tea Party. Lastly, The Battles of Lexington and Concord really pushed towards the American Revolution. Let us begin with how the Boston Massacre had a significant impact on the American Revolution.
On April 15,2013 hundreds of people were injured, some didn’t make it out. Some lives were changed by this incident many people lost limbs. The Boston Bombing was tragic day in our history , many people who were injured had amputate their arms or legs even. The police had shut down the area in a huge manhunt just to find the suspects. The website says that the 2 boys who did it had planned the attack on their own and carried it all out by themselves.
A rallying cry of patriotism in the colonies. Some say it sparked the American Revolution. Can you imagine, a thing as small as an argument throwing our country into war? It was just a passionate protest, but it quickly escalated. The head British officer sent more soldiers to direct order, but with the guns laying there in their arms it only spiked the tension.
I believe the jury did the right decision in the case of the boston Massacre, I think Captain Preston was innocent and did not order his men to fire, but individuals soldiers may be guilty of murder. The Boston Massacre started in March 5th 1770 in boston and 5 men and boys died. It started in front of a Government office with a crowd of american colonists who were propagandising the british soldiers they were in a riot fighting against the soldiers who were acting in malice. The incident started when the crowd was provoking the soldiers, they threw snowballs and clubs at the soldiers. One of the soldiers named Montgomery was hit on the head with ice and fell to the ground after he got up and fired into the crowd.
The British soldiers are not guilty because they only used self defense against the colonist. First, the soldiers are not guilty because their lives were in danger. Captain Thomas Preston states, “They [colonists] advance to the points of the bayonets...seemed to be endeavoring to close with the soldiers.” The colonists were coming closer to the soldiers,
Was it a massacre, or a battle? Did the British fire into unarmed civilians, or an angry group of militants? These are the questions, and many more, that people have differing answers too. I know for a fact that this so called massacre idea, was nothing but propaganda filled lies. The colonists knew that if they could twist the story they could get thousands to believe them.
There were many disagreements and because of those, many events were the cause of the American Revolution. These events included bloodshed by others, peoples rights weren’t enforced, individuals didn’t receive freedom, and our country was just not yet whole. Despite of the causes of why the road to Revolution took place there were effects afterwards. When American Revolution was over with the The Declaration of Independence came into place, treaties were signed, and the Bill of Rights. Now these effects/events were amazing, it helped our country tremendously.
The Boston Massacre was a street fight that occurred on March 5, 1770, between a “patriot”. They were throwing sticks, snowballs, and trash at a group of British troops. The loyalists got very annoyed with the patriots so they shot into the mob killing five. The riot began when around 50 colonists attacked a British sentinel. A British officer called in for additional troops
The Boston Massacre is an event most Americans and British students learn about over the course of their education. In America, we learn that British soldiers fired upon innocent civilians, although this may not have been the case. British historians have referred to the Boston Massacre as the "Incident on King Street". After looking over the "Captain Thomas Preston 's Account of the Boston Massacre", as well as "Boston Massacre Trial Depositions" I believe that American historians should refer to the "Boston Massacre" as the "Incident on King Street". The definition of a massacre refers to an unnecessary and random killing of a large number of individuals.
