Assignment 301 - Task B a) As a trainer, appropriate behaviour needs to be controlled initially by the setting of boundaries, although not all boundaries will resolve behaviour. This is essential to help ensure all rules are understood and followed all the time, and will then prevent trainees taking advantage of the others in the group. Rules need to be respected, and trust from the learner to progress.
Blood Stains and Former Friends Within Two Gallants’ song “Despite What You’ve Been Told” the greatest lesson to be learned is that lust cannot replace love and, as Norman Cousins once said, “The greatest loss is what dies inside us while we live.” This song describes the journey of a man dealing with loss of love and himself through a sexual encounter and the effect it has on him. The folky-rock sound of Two Gallants is often associated with lighter subjects, while this song surprises by discussing rather dark topics. “Despite What You’ve Been Told” discusses loss and takes a wistfully satirical stance towards unhealthy coping methods in a stanza pattern similar to the stages of grief.

I took English 111 because it is a required class and for no other reason. I came into this class expecting it to be just something I had to get through or check off to continue on with my degree. I did not expect to learn much either, but I was wrong. I have taken this class and I honestly think that it has helped me. I have learned new concepts and refreshed my memory on old ones.

Daniel Simons and Christopher Chabris’s book combines a series of examples and stories in developing research oriented explanations as to the falsities of the human mind, referring to them as illusions. In these examples, the authors test the veracity of six common human concepts that are considered illusory: attention, memory, confidence, knowledge, cause and potential. By testing these everyday human psychological concepts, Simons and Chabris test scientifically prove the unreliable truths in the human mind. A primary experiment was conducted, to demonstrate the unreliability of human attention in basic situations. Simons and Chabris, in 1999, presented a group of viewers a setting of a white team and black team passing a basketball to each other, and instructed the viewers to count the amount of passes the white team made to each other.
Problem identification of Walkers and AMV BBDO: Until now the brand's marketing approach has not delivered a sustained uplift. In order to improve sales, they want to encourage consumers to eat crisps with their sandwiches during lunch time. Based on research British people like the idea of having a packet of Walkers crisps together with their sandwich. But less than one out of ten actually eats crisps at lunch. Changing the consumer's vision to one that says sandwiches and crisps belong together at lunch time and the fact that crisps weren't sold next to sandwiches in stores are the main issues.

Project Nim was a study performed to examine whether or not chimpanzees could learn to use sign language to communicate with humans. The purpose was to see how closely related humans and chimps are. The coordinator of the project, Herb wanted to see if he could raise a chimp as a human and have it behave similarly to a human child. In the end Herb decided chimps couldn 't use sign language due to Nim’s inability to form grammatical sentences and that he did the signs to get what he wanted out of others.

Kino junior high is a school that thrives off of student success. For this to happen, however, students are expected to do the following: • Be respectful • Be responsible • Practice honesty • Give their personal best. The school also has policies in place that ask students to follow the agenda (that way they stay on track), bring all necessary materials (to assist them in their learning), and practice being on their best behavior (to ensure that all students have equal opportunities inside the classroom). When students follow these rules and policies, they’re rewarded with positive behavioral intervention.
