CM Gilmore: Case Study

CM Gilmore made a home visit to the residence of William and Denise Baker to ensure safety and well-being. The visit was an announced home visit. CM Gilmore explained the reason for the visit. Mrs. And Mr. Bake reported the following:

• William Baker greeted CM at the door and greeted her in.

• CM Gilmore addressed the allegations in the report. o William admits to giving them 10 hits when they are disciplined, and all the children get the same amount of hits. o Aunt doesn’t monitor the amount of hits, but she does spank them. o Aunt is aware of other punishments that could be used, but they do not respond well with them. o William reported that he has to constantly talk with them about their behavior. o William reported that there are a

He also reported that she still had them on formula milk. o William reported that Jordan does have to sit aside away from other, because he has inappropriately touched another child, and pushed a 3 year old off the couch. o William and Denise both reported they have been using different alternative for discipline. o Denise reported that when Jordan has to sit by the stairs, he has things he can do while he is there. She reported that he has puzzles, and other things to entertain him. o William reported that prior to them getting custody, the boys were drinking baby formula.
