Carrie Underwood: Road to Success
Coming from humble beginnings early on, Carrie underwood has come to be known not only for her amazing accomplishments in the contemporary country music industry, but also for the genuine passion she has for the music she records. Carrie Marie underwood was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma on March 10, 1983. Growing up on her parent’s farm, Underwood lived a very modest young life, often performing numerous chores on the farm. Underwood’s career skyrocketed from this point on, the young music sensation going on to become extremely successful later her career. Per an article written on Underwood’s official biography website, the singer has “sold over 58 million records worldwide, scored 21 No. 1 hits, and has been awarded 100 major awards in her career” (Bio). In 2006, she received an award for best new artist and best female country vocalist. During this time, Underwood recorded songs like “Jesus Take the Wheel,” and “Before He Cheats,” both of which made it to the top of the music charts. In 2007, she won her first Grammy and released her famous album “Carnival Ride.” In addition to all of this, Underwood became the youngest person ever to be inducted into the Grand Ole Opry when she was inducted by the legendary Country Music singer Garth Brooks (Bio). Not only does she aim for her songs to be relatable, but she also stems her songs from her own personal experiences. For example, her hit song “Heartbeat” was based on experiences she has with her husband and was intended to express it through the emotional content of the song. Unlike most hip-hop songs that contain useless repeated lyrics, Kanye West’s 2008 hit “Heartless” contains lyrics full of meaning. After producing this song, he was starting to approach the zenith of his career. This song became an instant hit for not only its soothing beats or sounds, but for its impactful lyrics that take the listener multiple attempts to really understand. This song has made me fight for what I believe in no matter if I lose some people on my journey. I can connect with this song emotionally not only because of its strong message but what it stands for. In the song Rachel talks about how if no one else believes, she still has a fight left in her. This message makes me feel like I will always have a fight in me no matter how hard life will get. In the story theres a lot of conflict that had happen but like the song saids that after a hurricane theres a rainbow. When all the bad stuff that is happening in his life its like the hurricane and the rainbow can be when he found the hobos that weren 't just hobos. Country Music Will Continue to Rise with Billy Currington We all know what one-hit wonders are. They are those singers who have tried to make it big but fell short of fuel and later faced oblivion after that one humongous track. Sadly, the music industry is just about identifying which singer would have the staying power, and much as how passion and determination wants to keep up with the game, fame is just not for everyone. While there are a lot of singers who have been classified as a one-hit wonder, there are some who are experiencing otherwise.

George Strait Introduction “I want to reach the point where people hear my name and immediately think of real country music (“George Strait Quotes,” 2018).” George Strait made this happen too, with hard work and persistence. Being turned down by multiple record companies was very hard on Strait. He kept working though, and it paid off.
If I could live a day as any celebrity of my choice, I would most definitely choose Carrie Underwood. I would select her for several reasons. The reasons include her bold faith and enormous heart. The other reasons would be her inspirational story and lifestyle. One of the biggest reasons for me choosing Carrie, is that she is a devout Christian who grew up in a small Baptist church in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
Whitney Houston’s iconic acapella opening to the song is what catches her listener’s attention. This is when Whitney begins to build the dynamic of the song after the first chorus, when the song shifts into a stronger and bolder feel. She then begins displaying her uplifting and powerful vocal abilities. Whitney is known in this song for her capability to hold certain notes throughout her performance. Unlike Dolly, who was calm, Whitney is crying out and declaring her love.
Although she does not want to, their is a part of her that wants to be with him and is jealous that he has found another woman to love. This song is giving the audience a lesson that we are all strong and that it is always possible to be happy even when it does not seem like it. Despite how strong she is, she still hurts and speaks to her ex who left her broken hearted. “I heard that you 're settled down, that you found a girl and you’re married now,” they broke up and Adele is having an onerous time getting over him. While he is married and now moved on to new things in his life, “I heard that your dreams came true.”
