Problem Statement: In this pow you have to find the amount of rebounds on a rectangular pool table starting at bottom left pocket and go at a 45 degree angle. Process: I spent sometime making rectangles to at as the pool tables. I started with the ball in the bottom left and simulated the ball going at a 45 degree angle because you need to find the amount of rebound. I used different dimensions for the table to find the different amount of rebounds. Solution: I found if you flip the length and width it would be the same rebounds like 2 and 1 has 1 rebound and 1 and 2 also has 1 rebound. I also found that a multiple of 2 is by a multiple of 3 it will make a fish like 4 and 6 will make a fish shape. I also found out that if the dimensions are
On the other hand, the trapezoid allows three tiles to fill, as one side of triangle is missing. I carefully studied the square table and looked at the proportion of the size of triangle, I was confident to determine the number of tiles were correct. Thus, the mathematics I used to solve this question was Measurement and Geometry which involves in using the relationship
Each table is 48 feet long and they connect at three corners forming an open triangle, a symbol of equality. Chicago created this work out of
In order to find the length of each side of square SGRE, I divided the perimeter 24 by 4 because a square always has 4 sides. As a result, the length of each side of square SGRE is 6. Additionally, since SH = SN, I let the length of both segments be represented as the variable x. Not only that, the lengths of ¯AR and ¯XR also be represented as x because points X and A are the reflected points of points H and N in ¯EG respectively. Therefore, the lengths¯( HE), ¯EX, ¯AG, and ¯GN must be 6 – x. The exact value of the perimeter of HEXAGN can be expressed as a - b√c, thus I added all the sides of HEXAGN in terms of x. This was because the lengths of ¯AR, ¯XR, ¯SH, and ¯SN were still unknown, but it must be true that x stand for a positive integers due to a, b, and c being positive
In the “Inner Corset” by the Laura Fraser described that how the thin ideal developed in the United State from the 1880s to 1920. Fraser’s article has as its purpose how the women’s body were apprise by men and experienced by women and appeals to logos by doctors being thin is very harmful for their body. The “Inner corset” is an except form “Fat and its follies”, “Never satisfied”, “American beauty, “Illness as metaphor”, “The complete Poor Richard almanacks, Vol.1, Imprint society”, and “Fat and fashion”, uses for
Pennings then took his dog to the park and threw the ball into the lake. He found that the dog took the path with point D, and using his dog’s three fastest swimming and three fastest running times, he found that dog’s fastest average running time was 6.40 meters/second, and his fastest average swimming time was 0.910 meters/second. Next, Pennings plugged these averages into the equation above and simplified to find y = 0.144x. This proportion would be true if Pennings’ dog took a mathematically perfect
Ooooo It's hard trying to get what you want when there are things in the way. Martha form the scholarship jacket and victor from seventh grade can relate. Martha wanted the scholarship jacket but the principal didn't want a Mexican to have it. And victor wanted to get closer to Teresa because he liked her

The reason on why one should not want language to “always wear a tie and lace-up shoes” is because you want the reader to feel comfortable and forget that they are even reading. In addition, by breaking grammar rules, the author can enrich the experience of the story by enhancing the narration, improving the imagery, and bettering the dialogue. The time you do not want to write language in a “tie and lace-up shoes” style is when you are trying to tell a story and trying to engage the audience about a
# 16 Beyond The Ponytail Braiding a nice supply of cornrows is an art that requires patience and mastery. Fortunately, the end results are always something worth smiling about. This hairstyle marries wow-factor in cornrows with the classic nature of French braids to create a nice, girly look. One of the symbols J.D. Salinger uses quite frequently in the book is Allie’s baseball mitt. In the beginning of the novel, it’s a normal baseball glove with poems on it, which we found out was owned by Holden’s brother who had died. But when you reach the end of the book, you realize that Allie’s mitt, along with the memory of him, shaped Holden to be the person he was in the novel. The baseball mitt represented the past.
The production of needlework and textiles depictis women’s primary entry point into material culture as a pivotal intersection where the social, political, economic, ethnic, and cultural facets of humanity are converged. The “world of the needle,” however, not only enhance the history of material cultures, but also the construction of gender and ethnic indistinctiveness, feminine culture, and evolution of consumer economies. Women and the Material Culture of Needlework and Textiles emulate with Teresa de Lauretis’ “theory of culture with women as the main subject - not commodities, but social beings bringing forth and imitating cultural products, transmitting and transforming cultural values.” For women of all stations in life and in all
The hexagonal wax cells of honeycomb also have their shape due to mathematics, the fact that they are the most efficient in parameter and are
The horseshoe and horse collar were both implemented during the Middle Ages in Europe for agricultural purposes. The horseshoe is a shoe for a horse made of a narrow band of iron in the form of an extended circular arc and secured to the hoof with nails . It protected the horse’s hooves from becoming soft and breaking due to the soft, damp, and cold ground of northern Europe . Additionally, it aided the horse in getting traction while on the damp and soft ground. The horse collar is part of a horse’s harness that pads a pair of curved metal or wood, called hames, and is around its neck and shoulders, which is connected to whatever it is pulling.
It’s a lot harder than the math problems were. You can’t quite get his shape down; it always comes out wrong somehow. You
