The disaster of pearl harbor

Pearl harbor was horrible disaster that shocked everybody in the world and had a huge impact on everybody that was around. Some people thought was the safest and largest navy base in the world was proved wrong. A day when the battleships floated tall above the ocean with not a worry in the world now lay rested on the bottom of the sea bed along with thousands of navy men who fought for their country during the attack of pearl harbor. Pearl harbor was a stepping stone that led to the united states to enter in world war ll.
The attack on pearl harbor was also known as the battle of pearl harbor. On a quiet morning in hawaii on december 7 1941 with some bases closed and most of the navy men at home because it was the weekend nobody expected what was going to happen. A wave of airplanes came in but they thought it was just united states airplanes in routine for that morning. But actually that wave was not just airplanes but it was japanese airplanes that nobody seen coming. The united states thought pearl harbor world have been the last place somebody would have attacked because it was one of the strongest bases but was proved wrong on december 7th. The japanese used over 300 airplanes to attack the navy base that was on the harbor they used bomber, torpedo planes and fighters planes. They also used a number of submarines.
