Lancelot and Guinevere The love story of Sir Lancelot and Queen Guinevere was very slow. At first Queen Guinevere ignored Lancelot. But then she grew to love him. There were many complications in this love story. They had to sneak behind everyone's back, including her husband King Arthur, everyone then found out, and then they were sentenced to death. When Lancelot and Guinevere first fell in love they had to hide it from everybody. At first nobody knew, but then one of the knights - Sir Agravain - found out and he threatened to tell the king.
