To the women of the grad chapter of Delta Sigma Theta, Incorporated: The purpose of this letter is to inform you of my interest in becoming a member of the grad chapter of Delta Sigma Theta, Incorporated. My desire to inspire young men and women and make a significant impact on their lives is just one of many reasons I aspire to join your great sorority. While growing up at a young age my mom worked out of my sibling lives. I did not have many positive female role models I could look to for guidance in different situations. Before my sophomore year I found out that I was pregnant with my son. I decided to take a year away from school to embrace being a new mom before going back to school. Being a new mom and working I found it very hard to go back in the classroom so I a decided to finish out school online. I begun online classes at Everest College online. During this time I also relocated to Albany New York where I obtained my Associate degree in Business administration from Everest College online. After obtaining my associate degree I began my own step team and mentoring the young ladies at Arbor Hill Elementary in Albany NY. I then decided to continue my education with obtaining my bachelors degree in Business Administration. Being that I have become a mother of two, I knew that the chances for me to go into the classroom were slim to none. I made the decision to return back to school online to Everest University. By the time I started I relocated back to South Carolina to helped out my dad that was sick at the time. October 2016 I obtain my bachelors degree in business administration. While I was in school, I wanted to continue to work with the youth in the community. So my sister and I created a dance team that is consist of girl ages 6-18. Our dance team is located in Lake City.
