In the United States there is a lot of gun violence the highest in the world and we need to do something about it we need better background checks we need to do something about gun trafficking and how it is used in a lot of crime and mental health problem with guns if we do better on this we can lower gun violence in america without having to take away or severely restrict the 2nd amendment

In the U.S people don’t think about the gun trafficking problem but it is it big problem
ATF reports, more than 600,000 crime guns that were traced from 2010 to 2020 originated from out of state they were used in which most likely means they were trafficked
The evidence shows the the government agency that is in charge of guns that hundreds of thousands of guns where used in crimes were trafficked into state that they were used in crime and that is a issue because if certain states make stricter gun laws then people could just go to states with weaker gun laws a get a gun there and smuggle it back into a state with stricter gun laws and this supports the gun trafficking problem in America
