There is a holiday which is around November. During this holiday, people dress up as ghosts, monsters, witches, or princesses. What is this holiday? Yes, it’s Halloween! In America, people enjoy Halloween very much. The children wear their costumes, go trick-or-treating, or tell scary ghost stories and play with each other. However, in Korea, people don’t usually celebrate Halloween much. They don’t go trick-or-treating, which is the most important event on Halloween. Do you believe Koreans should celebrate Halloween? I strongly believe that Koreans should celebrate Halloween for many reasons.
My first reason is very simple- It’s fun! What makes most people happy and entertain them? It’s party and holidays! Most holidays do fun things such as parties, or many other things. That kinds of things make most of the people happy. We will have much more fun if there are a lot of holidays and we celebrate them with our neighbors, friends, and families. For example, in Christmas, almost all the people in the world celebrates it. From celebrating an international holiday, we can learn more about that country’s culture. If we don’t celebrate much holidays from other countries, we might not know much about other countries. Today I will be talking about the holiday we call Halloween. Halloween is where we all dress up in costumes and get candy from houses on the thirty first of October. Here are three things about halloween. First, I am going to be talking the history of halloween.

In contradiction to Halloween, it is not a scary holiday and instead focuses on remembering those who have died with love and respect. On the first day (November 1) all the spirits of children who died come back and are remembered. The next day everyone else is celebrated.
