Abstract:

This study examined the relationship of work stress with psychological or mental collapse which lead to aggressive behavior .The study included one major hypotheses dealing with internal work stress, external work stress as well as personal and organizational variables and its impact on generating aggressiveness .
The study sample was the employees of United Arab Emirates University and other organizations.
The purposive sampling was used. The study sample consisted of (100) questionnaire and the number of respondent was (100).
The questionnaire consist of five parts: personal information, family information, work environment information, internal work stress information and solution suggestion.

General Adaptation Syndrome curve created by Hans Selye :
In 1936 Hans Selye created the stress model "General Adaptation Syndrome", which explains the stress response and how aging and disease are caused by chronic exposure to stress.
“Every stress leaves an indelible scar, and the organism pays for its survival after a stressful situation by becoming a little older.” Hans Selye (1907-1982)
This quotation obviously conclude his believe on how stress affect the human body and make the aging and also affect other body processes that occur as we expose to various stressors in our daily life . (Image from mindtools.com)
Selye identify three stages of stress response which are:
1. Alarm stage
It is the first reaction to stress context in which generally the body identify the stress as a threat or danger and activate fight or flight response system and release stress hormones, these hormone enable you human body to perform activities that the body don’t usually do while these happened blood pressure start to rise putting the human body on danger of facing stroke, heart attack or muscles
