Chapter Summary In this chapter Ender and the other boys settle in their dorm rooms. They pick out their bunks and set up their lockers. Ender and the others meet their “mom” for the next few months whose name is Dap. Dap also tells them what icing out means so all the boys know. In the chapter it also tells us how the boys have to go to long hours of school. Later they are introduced to the battle room. They learn the rules and ways of the battle room. Ender meets a boy named Mick who also goes to battle school, Mick gives Ender some advice about the school. These are the main things that happened in this chapter.
