George Potzgo, 7 Darlin Dr. Reading, Pa. 19609(484) 638-0861was advised of the identity of Investigator Sean P. Brennan and of the confidential nature and purpose of the interview, Potzgo, provided the following information: George Potzgo has been a constable for over 12 years. One time Potzgo explained, he couldn’t remember the date; he was standing with Judge Hadzick, Kylie Scott a security guard and her sister Ashley Scott who is also a constable outside Judge Hadzick’s courtroom. Ashley Scott showed Hadzick something on her phone. Potzgo didn’t see what it was on Ashley’s phone, but Ashley read it out loud for everyone to hear. Potzgo couldn’t remember exactly what it said but it said something about a threesome or foursome between the constables and the judge. Potzgo also said it had something to do with the constables and how they make …show more content…
Potzgo further explained that when Ashley and Kylie’s dad, Wally Scott was the judge, they didn’t have to do much and they had it made. When Judge Hadzick took over he started doing things different and he made them work and they weren’t happy about that. Potzgo remembers Ashley Scott asking Judge Hadzick if he was planning on getting rid of everyone in the courtroom who worked for her father and Hadzick told her he wasn’t getting rid of anyone and then Ashley asked Hadzick if she would get work out of his courtroom and Hadzick told her she would get as much as the other constables in his courtroom. Potzgo thought Kylie was mad when she wasn’t temporary appointed judge to take over when her father retired. Potzgo doesn’t consider anything Kylie has to say about Hadzick to be truthful because she wants his job. Potzgo said he never heard the judge say anything inappropriate to any employee in front of him. Potzgo believes Hadzick is a top notch guy who is fair with
Gottwald denied all of the allegations. On February 19, 2016, the request for a preliminary injunction on behalf of Kesha and her mother was denied. A month later, Sebert appealed the court’s decision. In April of the same year, the judge dismissed Kesha’s allegations because the assaults occurred eight years prior, therefore falling outside of the statute of limitations. Four months later, Sebert dropped her charges against Gottwald due to the emotional distress caused by the
Advised of a neighbor disturbance. Margaret Maloney called the Comm. Center and stated her neighbor Travis Beam, is harassing her. I asked what he did. She related when she walked outside he was on the porch and yelled "shut the fuck up."
Two main issues were raised before and during the trial; a plea bargain and a publication ban. Karla Hamolka did want to give any evidence against Paul, but the police needed one in order to charge him. She accepted to talk only if she had a reduced sentence; basically in exchange for a plea bargain she gave the evidence. She portrayed the ex-wife that was beaten by her husband and forced to participate in those rape activities. However, the rape videos were released during the trial and the images showed clearly that Karla was not forced to participate and even enjoyed it.
We ask her what this case is about. The judge is very friendly and she ask us back where are we from and then she tell us about the case. We left the court room around 3:40
There are no two words in the sports dictionary that make me cringe more than “franchise tag”. So, when Denver Broncos outside linebacker Von Miller posted on his Instagram Thursday that there is “No Chance” he’d play under the franchise tag next season, I was filled with smug satisfaction — and reminded how ridiculous the concept of the franchise tag really is. To an outsider, myself included, Miller’s rejection of the Broncos’ offer was baffling, at first. A six-year, $114.5 million contract (reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter) would have me whipping out my pen and asking where to sign.
March 7, 1980, in Piscataway High School two freshman girls were caught smoking cigarettes in their school’s bathroom. A teacher had found the girls and escorted them to the principal’s office, where they had met with Assistant Vice Principal Theodore Choplick. One of the girls immediately confessed to smoking cigarettes in the bathroom while her companion denied smoking the cigarettes or ever smoking at all. The companion, known as T.L.O. (Tracy Lois Odem) was suspected of lying. Based on the other girl 's confession, the assistant vice principal brought T.L.O. into his office where he demanded to see her purse.
America was founded on multiple principles, one of them being that America is supposed to be a country where people can say what they want and believe what they want without being punished. Over the past couple years however, more and more people who are standing up for their beliefs, are being punished, specifically 17 NFL players who have decided not to stand during the national anthem. Many news outlets have had opinions from NFL owners, players, and fans about the protest, but not a lot of media has had opinions from military veterans. I wanted to get a true military perspective from a veteran who wouldn’t hold anything back. Richard Carter has served in the military under the Air Force for 8 years and in the reserve for two years.
Judge Richard Cappelli 201 W. Front St. Media, Pa. 19063 (610) 891-4042 was advised of the identity of Investigator Sean P. Brennan and of the confidential nature and purpose of the interview, Cappelli, provided the following information: Judge Cappelli was a MDJ from November 1992 until he was elected to the Common Pleas Court in May 2014. Cappelli knows Judge Vann from when he was a MDJ and they would cover for one another over the course of time. Cappelli doesn’t know Vann outside of work, he never socialized with her. Cappelli vaguely recalls the circumstances involved when Vann called him and asked him to do an arraignment for her because she had some sort of conflict.
In today’s society, we have former National Football League(NFL) quarterback Collin Kapernick who’s no longer in the NFL because of his protest against racial inequality. However, many people believe he is no longer in the NFL because of his talent. Kapernick led the 49ers to Super Bowl 47. Although they didn’t win, he threw for 302 yards with a touchdown and rushed for 62 yards. Therefore, he didn’t get kicked out of the league because he wasn’t good enough, but for sitting down during the national anthem.
“I won’t be getting into any trouble Ma, he said, wrapping some bread and cold potatoes and half a roast chicken in some tow cotton. Plus they will be paying me, I hear they give eleven dollars a month.” These were the words Charley Goddard used to convince his mother joining the Union army was the right thing for him to do. Although he was only 15 years old, too young to join, he decided to lie about his age when asked by the Union army officer questioning him; He was very dedicated to fighting for what he believed in and helping his mother after the loss of his father. After his Pa died he had been struggling with the responsibility to help his family that is why he made the decision he did.
Chris McCandless was in his early 20’s, he was the kind of that guy that wanted to learn and experience life without all of the material things. He wanted to be independent from his parents and friends so Chris did something that would be insane for most of us humans but to him, it wasn’t. He went into the wild of Alaska for months, in fact, McCandless even thought he could make it out alive at the end of his journey. As a matter of fact, he was known as being a risk taker and enjoyed being out and about in the nature side of the world. Many would believe that Chris McCandless went into the wild to purposely kill himself; however, I myself believe that McCandless did not do it purposely.
The article of Lisa J. McIntyre is about Hernando’s Washington case. Hernando Washington was arrested and charged with robbery, rape, and murder. The main argument of this article is figuring out should we blame Hernando for robbing, kidnapping, raping and murdering another human being? In other words, convincing ourselves about social imagination. From my understanding of social imagination, is what allows us to make connections between individuals and the societies in where we live in, furthermore, that there is an explanation and reasoning for people's actions.
She attacked a federal witness and earned a charge on that also. Court's record showed Kristen had suffered psychiatric episodes. He
In general, I don’t believe that juveniles can be born evil or bad. Environmental factors carry a lot of weight when it comes to how children develop and grow into adults. However, in the uniquely gritty case of Willie Bosket, I believe it’s safe to say that if there were ever a case of a child being “born bad”, then Willie definitely meets the mark. When looking back at his lengthy family history filled with extreme deviance and outright violence, you can quite easily see that Willie fits right into the mold that was created long before he was even born. I think that a lot of Willie’s violent and criminal tendencies were learned from what he was exposed to while growing up.
Sarah Burns, Ariel Levy and Kafka stories illustrate how courts can be constrained to follow the rule of law in making judgments by public opinion. The three stories provide instances where external pressure exerted a stronger influence on the court ruling. In the case of Raymond Santana, Yusef Salaam, Antron McCray and Kevin Richardson, Sarah Burn asserts that. " Media coverage employed blatantly racist language and imagery.” And animal references "were used hundreds of times and came to be emblems of the case.
