The Great Depression greatly affected many people and nations worldwide in a terrible manner. Thousands of people lost their jobs, their land, their families. They lost their confidence in themselves which led to a loss of faith in their beliefs. Countries across the world were negatively affected by the lack of trade and wealth. The poor economy in the United States led to a loss of trade throughout other countries. Many people died during the Great Depression because of a lack of nutritional resources. People were poor because of the few jobs that were available to them . The American Great Depression was one of the hardest times for many people worldwide.
Markets were crashing and prices were going up. Prices were going up because there wasn’t enough food and supplies to sell which that made prices go up. Prices also went up because people that were selling products wanted to make more money. Prices were going up people couldn’t afford to buy food most of the time. “ There is no cause to worry. People that were sick couldn’t go and buy medicine because markets were crashing and prices were going up which some people couldn’t afford the medicine.
