Overkill? Maybe, but what some fail to understand is that there are a lot of different types of gun owners. Some own guns only protect themselves, and others are gearheads who are fascinated with how guns work. Some people collect certain types of guns because they’re cool, just like some people collect baseball cards and cars. Others just like things that are obnoxiously loud, spit fire, and blow things up. Just because someone commits an act of injustice with a gun doesn't mean guns are bad, just like when someone crashes a car, it doesn't mean cars are bad.
