Magic would be useful. Would you agree or disagree? Well just like everything it has some ups and downs. In J.K. Rowling’s book Harry Potter And The Chamber of Secrets there were three main characters. Harry, Ron, Hermione. They go to school at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. This is their second year at Hogwarts. In every book, movie or scenario there is always a hero that is put to the test. There are many qualities that I like about Ron, Hermione and Harry. Ron is your average student that doesn't understand a lot of things but works hard. Hermione is your smart excelling student. Works hard studys for everything and gets very good grades. She is also what you would call a book worm. By that I mean that any time she can …show more content…
Hermione got petrified. She could not help her fellow Gryffindor classmates. Which was not what she planned, especially with Draco Malfoy nagging on that Hermione would be next to be attacked by the basilisk. Draco Malfoy is a Slytherin. He is an enemy to Ron, Hermione, Harry because his family thinks that they are better than everyone else. Ron and Harry had to solve the mysterious myth of the basilisk without Hermione. To me Ron and Harry character and personality changed towards the end of the book. Ron and Harry both became more brave and had gotten more courage. Ron had to deal with the problem that his sister Ginny was trapped in the chamber. After some time Ron and Harry find out where the chamber of secrets was located. The entrance is located in the moaning Myrtle's bathroom. The chamber itself is located under the school. Like an underground layer. The entrance is sealed off and will not open unless you speak to it in Parseltongue. Parseltongue is the language of serpents if you can speak in parseltongue then you can speak with snakes or other serpents. All the professors …show more content…
Harry was about to speak in parseltongue. So he ron and professor Lockheart were able to get into the chamber of secrets. As they were walking farther into the chamber Gilderoy turned on Ron and Harry. Gilderoy took Ron's wand from him. He then said that he was going to get rid of Ron and Harry’s memory. He used the spell called Oblivious. Luckily for Ron and Harry the spell backfired sending Lockhart flying into the roof of the chamber. Which then caused the area in the roof to collapse. This then separated Ron and Harry on different sides. Harry went on ahead to try and find Ginny who was somewhere in the chamber. After walking down the hallway of the chamber Harry spotted Ginny lying on the ground. She was unconscious. Then a guy appeared. His name is Tom Marvolo RIddle. In the book Tom switched the letters around and it said I AM LORD VOLDEMORT. Then Tom summoned the basilisk to try and kill Harry. Harry character changed dramatically at this point. I feel like he became more brave, heroic and courageous because he fought the basilisk. Eventually Harry stabbed the basilisk in the head through the mouth instantly killing it. But Harry paid the price as one of the basilisk’s fangs stabbed Harry in the arm. The venom was spreading throughout the body. It would have killed Harry had it not been for Fawkes and his tears that had healing powers. Fawkes was a highly
Harry Potter was forced to endure many hardships of death and still needed to face the killer of his loved ones, who was known as the embodiment of evil. These three individuals had to endure many hardships to reach their goal.
Harry. Yes, that was another cause for concern. Again, he'd been captured. Again, he'd managed to escape.
Harry and his friends figure out that Voldemort is controlling Harry. This might change things because now Harry might feel that he might hurt people he’s close to, and will try to distance himself from them. The others might try to help him, though with no outcome. Or, he might have another reason to hate Voldemort and when he meets him, he might rage on him. Also, Harry might try to hide out to Sirius, for help or safety.
Ultimately, the help from the mentor and the use of the amulets help Harry Potter come a tremendously long way and achieve his goal at the end of the
Also in this movie, we are introduced to a great deal of young couples and the air is full of young love at Hogwarts. During this movie, Harry is requested to take private lessons with Dumbledore in which he relives memories from a great deal of wizards in order to better understand Lord Voldemort and find a way to defeat him. He is required by Professor Dumbledore to retrieve a memory from Professor Slughorn that is a key ingredient to the mystery of the creation of the world’s darkest wizard. During this quest we are introduced to the young Tom Marvolo Riddle before he knew that he was a wizard, and during his early years at
The books with the intense device of "enchantment" turn normal, "genuine" topics and things into something superb and engaging. The blending of these two components make the reader identify with the story and yet experience the fantastical within the mundane. One of the primary characteristics of magical realism focuses on the fact that the concept of time where there are notions of both fragmented history and the concept of timelessness; the idea

In these films, Harry Potter, a young wizard, embarks on a journey to Hogwarts School where he meets friends and battles evil. Before diving into the journey, it is important to label the different archetypes that will be seen throughout the quest. First and most importantly is our hero, Harry Potter. He is accompanied by his two best friends and helpers, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley.
Having read the story it is evident that some details written here are not in the short story, but they are in the Harry Potter book. Most of the references are from the Deathly Hallows book, many of the terms are going will be explained, explicitly, in case, a reader
He is both courageous and loyal, but on the downside he can also be very impulsive and hot-tempered. He is in this book younger than most main characters in other books, which makes it hard to compare him to someone else. The book is written in the third person, but you still only see it from Harry’s perspective as it’s his thoughts and feelings that are written about.
During the third task he has to go through a maze which at the end of the maze holds the Triwizard cup, inside the maze Harry encounters Krum who has been bewitched in order to save Cedric. Harry then agrees with Cedric that they
In the following research paper, the main focus will be J.K. Rowling and her Harry Potter series. It will cover who she is, briefly covering her life. He then travels to the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where he has various adventures with his new friends while being pursued by Voldemort, the Dark wizard who had killed Harry’s biological parents and had fallen from power after attempting to kill Harry, who miraculously survived. The first volume, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, was actually one of the first books I read, in 1st grade. It was the book that first got me interested in reading, and the rest of
