March of 1933 something happened that would change the lives of millions forever. In ¨Dachau¨ the first concentration camp was opened (¨United States Holocaust Memorial Museum¨). This would be the first of thousands more to come, all with the intention of either forced labor or mass murder, often both (¨The Holocaust¨). Many events led to this crisis and they all included the persecution of the Jewish people. Persecution included the making of Jewish laws, Kristallnacht, the creation of ghettos, and finally torture in the concentration camps.
The German government was led by Hitler, who rose to power by his eloquent speaking abilities and by blaming the Jews for all of Germany's faults (¨Why Hitler was such a successful orator¨). In planning

Their secret of the mass killing of millions would soon be discovered and it would then be their turn for punishment. The Germans took every possible step to disassemble the camps as quickly as possible. They began gassing the Jews at an even faster rate desperately trying to get rid of as many witnesses to their terrible crimes. The Jews were ordered to quickly tear down the camps, and when they had done all they could, they were forced to walk from the camp to another unknown destination. For days on end the Jews would run from the camp, not being allowed to stop for rest or for water. SS guards shot anyone who fell or got behind. Of the thousands and thousands of prisoners forced to make this journey about 15,000 of them died from exhaustion, starvation, thirst, and harsh weather conditions (Lace 92). When ¨Auschwitz¨ was liberated, about 7,000 hidden Jews remained (¨United States Holocaust Memorial Museum¨). They were the lucky ones; they would soon be freed and be able to slowly attempt to put their lives back together. Many of the soldiers who liberated the camps did not even know what they were doing. Some of them had no knowledge of the final solution, and did not know of the suffering of millions. There is no exact number for how many people were murdered by the Nazis. Hitler did not want any proof of the crimes they were committing so nothing was ever written down. Although the Nazis tried to cover their actions there was nothing they could have done to cover the death of millions of people. These people included Soviets, Polish, Serbs, Gypsies, Jehovah's Witnesses, disabled people, criminals, but the biggest group being Jews were amongst the 900,000 people who were killed (¨Documenting Numbers of Victims of the Holocaust and Nazi Persecution¨). The murder of these people was done in an astonishingly short period of time. Hitler reigned for only twelve years and managed to
During the 1930s and ‘40s, one of the world’s most depressing time soccured. This was known as the Holocaust. Over the course of the Holocaust, 11 million people died. It was during WWII where the participants were Nazi Germany vs. The Allies. The Nazis targeted the Jewish race and religion because they were “inferior” and imprisoned and murdered them; as a result, six million Jews were killed and countless lives were affected.
Hitler acquired nearly 18 million soldiers to assist him with his plans. The Nazi soldiers had the job of searching for Jews and controlling them in the concentration camps. Hitler persecuted the Jews because he wanted to produce his ideal perfect race and obtain more power. In the novel Night by Elie
There were a total of 11 million people killed in the Holocaust. This is an extremely substantial number of innocent people that were killed, as a result of Adolf Hitler’s “Master Plan” of killing all Jews. These events altered millions of people’s lives and changed history.
There were over six million Jews that were killed during the Holocaust. Shaer states “Early in 1940, citing - speciously - an outbreak of disease among the Jewish residents of Lodz, Nazi officials began transplanting all 200,000 Jews to a barbed-wire ghetto in the northern district” (4). Many Jews were hurt or killed during this time. There were many different races of people in the Lodz
But this was only a small fraction of their troubles. Soon walls were built around the area, and the true horrors began. During their days in the ghetto the jews had to deal with finding food to eat, finding a way to be useful and help their families, and if they were taking classes, which were done in secret, to be careful and hide their books from the germans. The jews were also sent to camps, where they were worked to death, shot to death, and starved to death. Their items were stolen, and they couldn 't do anything about it.
Millions of Jewish people were murdered in concentration camps by the Dictator of Germany. Adolf Hitler. This horrible event happened between the times 1933 and 1945. During this people experienced lots of hardships such as death, torture, isolation, beatings, and starvation. Even through these hardships the way people found strength to endure the Holocaust.
"...to remain silent and indifferent is the greatest sin of all..." The Holocaust killed over 6-7 million people. Jews were forced to live in specific areas of the city called ghettos after the beginning of World War ll. In the larger ghettos, up to 1,000 people a day were picked up and brought by train to concentration camps or death camps. Elie Wiesel was a survivor in the Holocaust.
The Holocaust is considered one of the most notable events to happen in human history. Adolf Hitler’s plan was to exterminate all races of which he thought was inferior to his master race, The Aryan Race. To effectively kill them, he made concentration camps where the prisoners would be worked to death. Sadly, most of the races targeted and killed were the Jews. They were blamed for everything such as World War I and World War II.
The Holocaust, an event in which six million people were innocently murdered. German Fuher Adolf Hitler targeted all Jewish citizens because he believed that they were a threat to the German community. He believed that Germans were superior and wanted to remove other groups of non-Aryans from existence. He decided on the final plan to solve the Jewish question in 1941 and started planning it in January of 1942. This final plan was meant to kill eleven million Jews but resulted in the murder of six million.
There was a horrific event that lasted twelve years. This event was fueled by hate for an entire group of people. For twelve long years six million Jewish men, women, and children were hunted down and killed. This event is known as the Holocaust and to prevent something as horrific as this we must research and study the Holocaust.
By the end of the war, there were some 50,000 up to 100,000 survivors that were living in occupied Europe. Auschwitz was the camp that happened to occur the most death out of all the other camps. Thousands of Nazis commited suicide during 1945, as they were taught. After the removal of Adolf Hitler, within’ a year, the population of survivors grew up to over 200,000 survivors. During the holocaust, Adolf hitler murdered millions of people.
In all, 200,000 gypsies and disabled people were killed (The Holocaust). On May 7, 1945 the Germans surrendered unconditionally to allies (The Holocaust). Displaced persons camps opened up all over and this is where majority of the survivors were found (The Holocaust). Those that did not make it, died in gas chambers, starvation, disease, neglect, or maltreatment (The Holocaust). The last displaced persons camp closed in 1957 (The Holocaust).
Expository Report “We must do something, we can’t let them kill us like that, like cattle in the slaughterhouse, we must revolt”. These are the words from many men surrounding Elie Wiesel as he entered Auschwitz, calling out for rebellious toward the Germans harsh conditions. Of course they had no idea what they were getting themselves into, many thought that there was nothing wrong until boarding the cattle train that would send them off to their final resting place. Life during the holocaust was torturous to say the least, so much so that some 6,000,000 lives were taken during this time in Jewish descent alone. People of the Jewish descent did not have it easy; they either were forced out of their homes into concentration camps, or they would hide out only to be found and killed of they remained in their settlements.
This was such a tragic time in history and we should all be thankful that our world isn 't like this. The Concentration Camps were made because Hitler hated the jews and wanted to kill all and they were kind of brainwashing them to tell them it is a wonderful place to live. When they were making the camps the Nazis would go around just shooting people for no reason. So Hitler and the Nazis captured the majority of the Jews and put them into these camps saying they should be here and that they deserve to died and it is all their fault.
Jews were moved to the camps to either work or be killed (Veil 113). The Nazis also wanted to keep the children, but only twins because the Nazi scientist wanted to experiment on them (Veil 115). The Nazis had a plan called the System of Death where they told all the Jews that they were going to take showers and clean off and the Nazis took them to a medium sized room where they all stripped down getting ready for showers. The Nazis would then put some Zyklon B pellets into the chamber where it reacted with the oxygen in the air and turned into chlorine gas and all the Jews were dead in minutes. They then would force some other Jews to carry the bodies to the crematorium where the bodies would be
