The Great depression had alot of effects on people and the world. The trading routes with other countries to America stopped. When the trading routes shut down alot of people lost their jobs. Many teachers in schools were forced to stop working because the government could no longer pay them. During the Great Depression the Hoover Dam was built. The Dam was built on October 9, 1936. When this was being built it created many jobs for people during the Depression. The Hoover Dam was created in Nevada and produced electricity
