Economic growth affected society during the Gilded Age in many different ways, both positive and negative. Economic growth affected it in such a way that there was vast wealth, industrial workers and farmers did not share in the new prosperity, and mass immigration. It was a time of Industrialization where the United States made a jump from farms to factories.
