Culturally The Salem witch trials allowed women to be aware of the injustice they were facing which led them to demand equality. Along with the Great Awakening, that introduced many new religions that lead to conflict within the people. Politically the French and Indian war helped George Washington prepare for leading the continental army. In addition the Declaration of Independence created the separation between the loyalist and the patriots. Socially Bacons Rebellion and made citizens aware that they had a voice.
