What role caused a significant part in the Revolutionary War? We believe that the Boston Tea Party was a significant part in leading to the Revolutionary War. The cause of the Boston Tea Party happened because colonists did not want to pay tax on British Tea. The cause effected the war, but not as much as the effect affected the war.
