Rainsford demonstrates that he is Alert, Intelligent, and Talented by fighting for his life against the General.
Rainsford is Alert. He demonstrated this in the beginning of the game when he first went into the forest, he tried to put as much distance between himself and the general as possible so it would be harder for Zaroff to find and kill him. “His first whole idea was to put as much distance between himself and General Zaroff (p.26)”

The most dangerous game is a short story about a hunter named Sanger Rainsford who is marooned on an island after accidentally falling off a yacht. After Rainsford falls, he frantically swims to the nearest island in search of food and shelter. However this deserted island is not an ordinary island. This is called Ship Trap Island.
Sanger Rainsford was a very smart, successful man. The Most Dangerous Game Essay In the short story the most dangerous game Rainsford was justified in killing general Zaroff. Rainsford was a person who fell off the ship,and swim to land. He went to a nice building for food,and people that help. General Zaroff was the one who bought the island and know everything about it.
He knew how to avoid them he just didn’t know if avoiding them the way thought in his head was going to work. He ended up getting caught in one of the traps and didn’t know what to do. He had to think quickly before Zaroff could kill him and take all his weapons. The battle ended with Rainsford winning. The night after rainsford won the great battle between General Zaroff, he went home that night and slept in the bed off Zaroff's.

After going up onto the afterdeck and hearing a gunshot, he ran to the railing to see what was all the commotion. He had climbed onto the railing to get a better view and quickly lost his balance, subsequently being thrown into the bitterly cold waters.
Fear is not real. It is the product of thoughts you create. Danger is very real, but fear is a choice.
