The Industrial revolution was a period of great success but it came with danger. This time of invention and breakthrough was important in forming what America is today. The Industrial Revolution brought great change and it made many people's lives easier. This success did lead to the downfall as many citizens lost their jobs. The machines stole important roles and over 200,000 people were stripped of their jobs. Many people also lost their jobs due to health conditions. The factories that people had to work in were dirty and neglected. The factories were unexamined so they did not have to make it safe. Dangerous machines were lined in tight spaces with many people working on them. Workers did not have any protection and wore inappropriate clothing for their job. When a worker got sick or injured they would not be able to work which meant they could not be paid.
