“The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated”.
Do you know who says this quote? It came from a famous person from India, Mahatma Gandhi.
Nowadays, many animals are abused and injured. The worst thing is when they become
experimental material for chemical products experiments. For example, there is a video that went
viral about a monkey with horrific face and one of its hands cannot be moved due to an effect of the
chemical testing. Really inhumane, only those words can describe for these situations. If you are
seen this situation, what would you do?.
Assalamuailaikum and good morning to everyone. My name is Nur Iznie Mohamad and I would
like to persuade you all with my speech.

Types of animal cruelty. There is two kind of animal cruelty which is direct violence and neglect.
Direct violence is common types of animal cruelty where they show the symptoms include open
wounds, multiple scars, limp, or difficulty walking. Many animals suffer from this abuse will also
display weird behaviours such as hiding, walking with their heads down and tails between their
legs, or cringing when someone approaches like. As stated in statistic brain website, 68% of them
were reported as direct violence.
The examples of direct violence are fur farming where the animals are skinned alive for their fur.
Besides, the animal was forced to fight, become an experimentation material and uses of animals,
including endangered species, for Traditional Chinese Medicine which is horrific cruelty. It
threatens the survival of endangered species and causes a life of misery and agony for many
animals because the trade is so lucrative to poachers.
Another type of animal cruelty is neglect. This abuse usually happens to the animals in the zoo, the
animals with irresponsible owners.
They ignore the needs of their pets. Symptoms include a waiver of injury or illness that
Signs, Symptoms, Effects of Problem: According to EXPRESS, some animals have clamps applied to their mouths, and rods inserted inside their anuses to get electrocuted, others, undergo poisoning, neck-snapping and are even put in decompression chambers. Without mentioning that some animals including rabbits, cats and dogs are skinned alive. (Meredith C, 2013) 2. Importance of Problem: Not only is this animal cruelty hurting animals but it also affecting us humans indirectly.
(5). Personally I agree with his saying, if animals are allowed to have a basic moral status, then chances are that less harm towards the animals will be
Slap, whip, abuse. This is what comes to mind when people think of when it comes to livestock. This assumption is misleading and inaccurate because this is only showing the bad side to what actually goes on. The livestock industry is viewed as immoral and inhumane but in reality, we do so much more good than bad but the truth is being kept away. In the industry we care for the livestock, we provide for whatever they need, and simply, it’s a lifestyle.
In a rodeo people are harming and putting these animals in cruelty by harming the animals in the pen. To start, the rodeos put devices on the animals. The devices that were on the animals was called the hot-shot. The hot-shot sends volts up to 50,000 volts. The device is constantly shocking so the animal is always in pain when it is in the show.
Several zoos were inhumane towards their animals and didn’t treat them in the right way. There were many cases and stories on the different ways they were abused. One story includes a 59 year old elephant called Anne. This elephant was chained up and beaten on the back and legs if it didn’t perform tricks to its audience (Carr, 2012). Another story, that happened in 2010, includes a zoo in China which allowed eleven of its Siberian tigers to die of starvation.
Animal Cruelty “ It is so much easier to avoid such rude interruptions to our work, our dreams, our hopes. It is, after all, awkward, troublesome, to be involved in another person's pain and despair”(Wiesel). This quote from Elie Wiesel’s “Perils of Indifference” perfectly sums up the dangers of indifference. This feeling can be seen throughout humanity as society reflects on various global crises with indifference and a lack of empathy.
In Debater Francione’s argument considering the Andre Robinson Case, A man who callously kicked a cat for laughs, Francione says that intentionally harming an animal is no different from killing an animal for eating purposes. And those that eat meat are practically the same as people who abuse animals on purpose. I disagree with Francione’s view. Eating meat does not make you an immoral person. Yes, Andre Robinson, the man in question, shouldn’t have kicked the cat like he did and he should not have shamelessly danced afterwards, but him kicking a cat is not the same as someone going to Whataburger and eating a bacon cheeseburger for lunch.
Alejandra Jimenez Ms. Sickler English 10 January 26, 2018 Animal Cruelty Animal Cruelty, also known as animal abuse, is the deliberate act of violence towards animals. It has been reported that animal abuse can lead to domestic abuse. Animal cruelty is linked to an increase in both violence and crime. Animals used for entertainment and gaming purposes are forced to partake in events and actions.
You support the inhumane practice of pet stores/mills. 2. Animals in shelters are euthanized because of overcrowding. 3. Your animal lives in poor conditions that lead to health conditions.
I’m here today to talk about a controversial issue that has been around for a period of time, animal testing. Animal testing using animals in experiments with different chemical substances in everything from medical to cosmetic to determine their safety as well as effectiveness . It’s a problem that has existed since the 3rd and 4th centuries BCE with its merciless methods and painful ways of abusing animals for human demands, but now it’s time for it to stop. Our technology has developed significantly since; therefore, such medieval methods of torturing animals are no longer necessary. Researches have shown that each year, over 100 million animals are tortured and killed in American laboratories alone, including dogs, cats and more; this shows how far out of hand animal testing have gotten.

Animal Cruelty Have you ever wondered how much atrocious animal treatments are occurring around the world? The average number of animal abuse cases reported in the media each year is 1,920 according to a study conducted this year by Statistic Brain Research Institute. Moreover, a lot of animals struggle around the globe because they are often beaten, neglected and hunted, which forces them to fight for survival. Helpless animals continue to be exploited by humans and are still constantly being robbed of their lives. Thus, animal cruelty is the killing, exploiting and neglecting the needs of animals that are causing extinction and nonessential suffering.
For example Peta in New York has set of rules. Regular persons can be considered criminals and pay penalty that transports without providing much comfort to the animal. Peta also forbids overworking an animal in other words to make them exhausted for no reason (senstein,2012,p.4). Animal experimentation is cruel but necessary for the survival of both human beings and animals. If animals are being experimented on then they have to be treated in an excellent manner to minimize their suffering.
In 1789 Jeremy Bentham, one of the very first animal rights activists, argued that animals should be treated with equality due to the fact that they are sentient. Meaning that not only are they aware of perception, but receptive to
Animals are being abused everyday and they are not taken into consideration when you see them being abused. They are suffering and they are being abused everyday and you all need to stop it. Animal cruelty is not something that just goes away the person doing it will keep doing it until someone stops them. Everyone needs to stop animal abuse and if everyone starts to make a difference others will to. Animals need help with this and everyone needs to help them.
