She helps them making them fill out forms and letters so they can be sent to the immigration office. The book I am reading is Enrique’s Journey by Sonia Nazario. I predict that the author will explore the human rights issue of Immigration Laws and the plight of illegal aliens in the United States. I believe that this issue will be important in the story because Enrique the main character in the story is very driven to find his mother who has gone herself illegally to the United States to earn money to provide an education for her children and to better the life of her family. I made this prediction because Lourdes leaves her children in Honduras as she goes to make money in the United States and her son Enrique is left saying “Donde esta mi mami?” “Where is my mom?”

Meaning that since she is aware of this fact, that her target goal is to help those indocumented Central Americans.
Nora Rodriguez is a heroine because she helps immigrants in any way she can. One way she does this is by helping them with their immigration paperwork at a reduced cost. In the article called, "Honduran Entrepreneur Helps Central American Immigrants Gain Legal Status in Mexico" by Mayela Sanchez, states that "she charges customers one-quarter of the price as other people do. " This is an example of how she is a heroine because there are many people out there that will exploit the immigrants for their own gain and take advantage of their situation. Nora learned this harsh truth as stated in the article, "she was learning hard truths about the lives of her fellow Central Americans in Tapachula, including the fact that the people who purported
In my opinion, Dorothea Dix fits my definition of a hero because she not only did something to improve the life of one person, she improved the lives of thousands, without worrying about the consequences of her actions. That day when she went to teach Sunday school in East Cambridge, she could have done nothing about the terrible conditions that the prisoners had to endure. She could have chosen to ignore them. But instead, she let her courageous and nurturing ways take over, and she campaigned for the rights of those
Some possible reasons that makes Nora Rodriguez a hero are that she tried helping immigrants to get legalized in the U.S by telling them what to put in the forms. In the article ir says,"She helps them to fill out forms and to write letters the immigration office requires. "This shows that she likes helping those who need the help. This evidence is important because it shows that not all Americans are mean and selfish. Another possible reason that makes Nora Rodriguez a hero is that she helps anybody and doesn 't care of nationality.

Imagine having to give up on your dreams for the ones you love. Many kids have to give up stuff like their dream job and education, maybe a sport they love because mom and dad can’t afford it or they may not have parents. Darry should be named a hero in the book. Darry is a hero because he had to give up going to college or playing the sport he loved because he had to take care of his siblings.
The first reason why The Grimké sisters are heroes because, when the Sarah was younger, she broke the law of slavery, she didn 't believe that only white people should have rights, “Sarah, the older, did not tell anyone when she secretly taught slave children to read, something that violated state law” (Nadia T.). Which proves that she is a hero because of her kindness and righteousness. And Angelina had also chosen the path her sister took, “Angelina Grimke chose a different path: Like her older sister, Sarah, she left the South and devoted her life to racial and gender equality” (Nadia T.), believing the government should change for the good, which proved her to be a hero too because she chose a path that benefited other people

Debi Mazar is an actress who stated, “A hero is somebody who is selfless, who is generous in spirit, who just tried to give back as much as possible and help people. A hero to me is someone who saves people and who really, deeply cares.” Heroes are relevant to everyone, because at some point, everyone has had a hero. Sadly, today’s society degrades the meaning of the word “hero”. Heroes are an important aspect of life, but famous people are not always heroes.
