Who is Jeffery Dahmer? Jeffery “monster” Dahmer, the famous Milwaukee serial killer and cannibalism, who killed 17 men over the span of a decade ranging from the ages of 14-28. Why did he kill? How did he escape from authority for over 9 years? How did he hide it from his neighbors?Born on May 21,1960 in Doylestown, Ohio, He didn’t have a “perfect childhood”. His mom dealt with substance abuse by taking the prescribed medicine given to her when she was pregnant with Jeffrey in 1960. Her name was Joyce. Joyce Dahmer was born in 1936 and gave birth to Jeffery Dahmer in 1960. She was addicted to drugs and was mentally unstable during her pregnancy. Jeffery grew up with a bad childhood, His mom suffered from depression and a suicide attempt. Before the suicide, the family moved around a lot at the ages of 6 and 8 until they settled in a house in Ohio . Jeffery had one brother named David. It was always a battle between them. He thought of him of a competitor after he was born when he was around 5 years old. Over the years Joyce Dahmer and Lionel Dahmer had a bad relationship. they fought a lot and their divorce ended in a mess. It was described as “ a messy and gross relationship”. They thought of Jeffery as the weird kid who would always get picked on mostly because he was gay and weird. At the time mostly weird. One of the weirdest thing was he took home a animal to dissect with his dad. At the time every kid always wondered why he would always smell and would judge him for that. His mom claimed him as “disgusting” or “sickening”. At the time he was a closeted gay kid but had other feeling about men. Around 14 he admitted his likings toward boys, not girls. He had been having “compulsions” about men. All he could think about is not being with them but being with their dead
