Since the assassination of John F. Kennedy (J.F.K), many conspiracy theories have evolved. More recently, conspiracists have sparked new interest in Kennedy’s death involving the supposed shooter, Lee Harvey Oswald. Focus has shifted to the belief that the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) was also involved in the assassination of JFK. Many witnesses have come forward to say that there is no real possibility of Oswald being the lone gunman. Part of the JFK conspiracy is that the CIA was involved in the assassination and its cover-up as well. A majority of Americans believe that the Central Intelligence Agency had something to do with the assassination of John F. Kennedy. JFK was born on May 29, 1917, in Brooksville, Massachusetts to a wealthy American family. JFK was the oldest of the nine siblings in the Kennedy household. Growing up, JFK was privileged with a good education. As a Catholic, John F. Kennedy went to a Catholic school called Canterbury and then continued his education by studying law at Harvard University. In
1946, JFK ran for the House of Representatives at the age of 29. After winning, he held his seat for three terms from 1946 to 1952. In 1952, JFK ran for the Senate and won against Henry Lodge, Jr. JFK served eight years in the Senate and ran for the Presidency but was unsuccessful. The shot came from the 6th floor of the Texas School Book Depository Building where Lee Harvey Oswald was working at that time. Immediately after the shot, the limousine slowed down but sped up again and rushed to parkland hospital where John F. Kennedy was pronounced dead. The interesting aspect at this time was that the Secret Service Agent for J.F.K did not react till the second shot, the Vice President’s Secret Service Agent immediately reacted by putting his body over Lyndon B.
