There are few theories and concepts in the Leadership chapter. This theories and concepts explain us about how the organization runs and what type of people and talents are needed to run the organization.
First theory in the chapter is Trait theories. This theories focus on the personality, characteristics and emotional intelligence to differentiate the leaders and non-leaders. In this theory, there is also some aspects from the Big Five Personality Framework such as extroversion, conscientiousness and openness to experience and also agreeableness. This theory also believes that some are born with the qualities that makes them do well in the leadership role in the organization. They are two categories in leadership behavioural which is initiating structure and consideration. Initiating structure in this theory it can define the role of the worker and it can attempt to improve the work place, relationship between the works and the goals of the company. It also deals with people behaviour in the workplace. Consideration is about task orientated behaviour. It focuses on the well-being, satisfaction and the hard work of the employees. Leader who is helter skater over initiating structure maybe that's only the tip of the iceberg worried around characterizing undertaking prerequisites and other parts of the fill in organization security. Moreover, there are also University of Michigan studies which divided in two which is Production Orientated and Employee Orientated. In production orientated is about finishing a task with group and doing it well in any tasks they are giving in group.
