Making the correct decisions will help you survive, so being calm and clear-headed allows you to make the right choice and keep you from panicking. In the article “Lost In Death Valley” by Kristin Lewis, three women went on a vacation trip through Death Valley when suddenly their car stopped. Rainsford from “The Most Dangerous Game” by Richard Connell, is in hiding and is waiting for the right moment to strike his trap, “He lived a year in a minute...the pit gave way.” (14). Finally in the film Castaway by Robert Zemeckis, Chuck Noland is explaining his time on the island and that he needed to stay alive to get back home and that he would have to wait for that time to come “...I gotta keep breathing. Because tomorrow the sun will rise. Who knows what the tide could bring?” (Hanks, Castaway). Each person given the circumstances had patience and survived. They were able to wait for help, wait for the right moment to release a trap, or to wait for that point in time to realize you have to keep living. Delaney says that more and more coyote’s approach humans also that coyotes are no longer contented with trash as food. He also accuses the accumulative coyote incidents on humans. In Delaney’s thinks that it is their fault and he incidentally tells them to do something about it. The documentary, A Death of One’s Own, explores the end of life complexities that many terminal disease patients have to undergo in deciding on dying and dignity. One character, Jim Witcher has ALS and knows the kind of death he is facing and wants to control its timing. Kitty Rayl is suffering from terminal cancer and wants to take advantage of her state’s Death with Dignity Act and take medication to terminate her life. Ricky Tackett, on the other hand, has liver failure and together with his family and caregiver agrees on terminal sedation to relieve his delirium and pain.

However, Gone with the Wind is a great example of mise-en-scene ,what is physically being shot in the scene without editing and can include, but is not limited to camera movement, lighting, focus and scenery, in many different ways. Mise-en-scene actually appears during the first scene when Scarlett is sitting on the steps of Tara, her family’s plantation, along with her two of her male companions. Scarlett is sitting on the top stair while the twins are sitting on stairs below hers almost as if they were worshipping her. Scarlett is also looking down upon the twins as if she were superior to them.
