Earvin “Magic” Johnson the greatest basketball player of all time and has one of the greatest nickname that's of all time in Magic, but his mother did not approve of his nickname. Magic Johnson mother is a devoted Christian, and she thought that this was a very blasphemous that people was calling her son Magic. Even though Magic Johnson Mother did not approve of his nickname Earvin would keep this nickname throughout his life and have a tremendous basketball carrer. The reason why Magic Johnson is the Greatest basketball of all time are he is a 5 time NBA champion, a 3 time NBA MVP, and is a winner on every leave of his life. Earvin had a very humble beginning as a young child, but his escape would be to watch and play basketball. Earvin’s mother would help him to learn the 5 pointers of basketballs and how to get a nice solid work ethic at a very young age. Also, Christine Johnson grew up playing basketball with her two older brothers and she fell in love with the game as well.
