My Nursing Goals I go to Belmont College because I want to become a registered nurse (RN). I chose to go to there because I love nursing, I want to help others, and I want to advance my education. The job that I hope to obtain with my degree is a job in an emergency room or in a pediatric ward. This math course will help me a lot with my RN job in the future because it teaches me all the calculations that are needed for nursing. I want to obtain my RN degree from Belmont College. I am going to Belmont College for their LPN to RN program. I chose to attend this college for a number of different reasons. The first reason is that I love the field of nursing. I love being around people and communicating with them. I love learning about the body,
By obtaining a degree from Texas A&M University I will be able to further my career in the medical field. Texas A&M Corpus offers a Master Degree in nursing which I would like to obtain. My obtaining it I will further my education by majoring in biology or epidemiology. This will educate me on incurable illnesses along with creating cures. I have researched on this University and it has met my requirements.
My student, Paula Wentley, is in the process of applying to the University of Tennessee-Knoxville with the goal of pursuing an undergraduate degree in Nursing. She is an exemplary student who demonstrates solid ethics in the academic, social, and personal aspects of her life. Aside from being an extremely hard worker, Paula shows promise and aptitude in the health sciences. This year, Paula ran for Vice President of the Health Occupations Students of America student club.
As a hopeful future undergraduate at IUPUI, I am eager to participate in the nursing program. Currently I am taking a class at my high school that will allow me to become a certified nursing assistant if I pass the state exam. Although I have only started this school year, I can tell that I have found my passion through nursing. With this simple goal, I plan to focus on my school work and dedicate my time at IUPUI. Besides the school aspect, I also want to participate in numerous extracurricular activities offered.
As a mother of two children, I was looking for a school with both flexibility and one that reflected my nursing practice. The Walden University School of Nursing
For almost three years now, I have been enrolled in the Health Science program at Manchester Community College in Manchester, NH. My intentions are to transfer to a four-year college for a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy and then continue on to a Master’s degree. My goal is to become an Occupational Therapist with a focus on children with special needs. I recently added a dual enrollment to my degree in the Infant/ Toddler Lead Teacher certification program to gain experience in the Early Childhood Education field in a school setting.
Good Evening Professor Jones, I Currently am a student at Mildred Elley working on my Associate’s degree in Medical Assistant . May of 2019, I will be officially a graduate looking forward to enrolling into your Bachelor's Program for Nursing to further my education. Hunter college is one of the best school for nursing students and provides students not only with the education but the experience needed to enter the medical field. My ultimate goal if accepted is to achieve optimal education to provide a better future for my children. They’ve instilled drive and passion in me that pushes me to continue to want to better for them.
My passion for nursing practice defies description; leading to the reason I am opting to pursue a higher level of education in nursing. The George Washington University School of nursing has one of the highly ranked master’s programs in the country, which offers a competitive curriculum and highly defined leadership skills that integrates technology into learning. It is therefore my desire to pursue an advance education at this facility because it prepares practitioners to become great clinicians ready to solve real-world clinical problems. Moreover, the opportunity to pursue a degree in this facility will afford me the ability to be a competent and highly efficient family nurse practitioner; that will serve the community and mostly the underserved. I am the last child in a family of eight that has aspired to pursue my education at the graduate level.
That is what helped in the past and I plan to continue doing it throughout the RN school. Obtaining my RN is an investment both intellectually as well as financially. Once I complete the course, I hope to have a broader knowledge in the field of nursing which I can use in the
“More highly educated nursing workforce is critical to meeting the nation’s nursing needs and delivering safe, effective patient care….. Without a more educated nursing workforce, the nation’s health will be further at risk (Tri-council for Nursing, 2010).” As the acuity of the patient increases daily, so is the need for increases of higher education for nurses. The factor of increasing complexity of patient health require higher education for the liability of safe practice, thus is an agreeable requirement for employers to place upon the employees. Acquiring a bachelor’s degree is only an improvement for everyone.
I chose to study a STEM-focused major at Loyola Chicago because I knew that I wanted to pursue a career in the medical field, specifically nursing. Since a young age I have been interested in the medical field and found throughout my educational career that my strengths are in science and math. I believe that studying STEM has given me the skills and foundational knowledge that I need to pursue a career in nursing. Loyola has many opportunities to get involved in the medical community, including shadowing nurses and doctors, participating in medical simulations, and attending medical conferences. I am confident that my degree in a STEM field from Loyola will help me reach my career goal of becoming a successful nurse and positively impact the
When I walk into her room I see her lying there defenseless. The light above her bed casts the perfect fluorescence on her skin and she beams with elegance. I look at the nurse and the ends of her mouth twist up and the sides of her eyes crinkle and you can tell smiling is a way of life for her. She glides over to where I am standing and hugs me softly, telling me she will leave us alone so I can have my time with her. She walks off and closes the door tenderly, as if not to wake Brooklynn.
It had now been three weeks since they first were admitted into the hospital. Karen and Lorraine were in and out of the room seemingly as frequent as the nurses. They hoped to be able to speak with their father, but sadly, Edward was only responsive for a few hours at the end of the first week and a change from his dazed state seemed unlikely. “Only a short while before the rest of him gives up,” the nurses had said. Heart attack.
While working full- time as a technician, I attended college and quickly took all the needed courses to apply into a nursing program. I was attending college and had a full time job. Having both challenged and excited me, since I was one step closer to having my career; just as I promised my grandmother. I finally got accepted into nursing school, graduated, and became a Registered Nurse. Every single patient I cared for, I used my past experience with my family, and used that as my foundation for my bedside manner.
As for things, I would like to delve into this coming term, as well as the one after that, I honestly haven’t thought about it. I guess I would enjoy learning and doing courses that involves in nursing more, like we about to do next semester I look forward to it. My experience at St George’s University thus far has also been inspiring for me. I came here hoping to have my eyes and ears opened and to be able to see things differently in the world, and to gain as much knowledge that I possibly can. But so far, I am learning little by little
My last reason is the opportunity we get to go to Dartmouth for our clinical. One of the best hospitals around and that’s where I get to be taught the majority of what I will use for the rest of my life. I know that my journey here will not be easy but if I work hard enough at Colby Sawyer I know I will do great things for this college and for the world. This place is the perfect stop on my journey in life. In my opinion, Nursing is an important field it teaches you things about others and lets you care for others while also being able to help yourself.
