The foods that you eat are vital for your success on the Paleo diet. If you aren 't eating a meal plan that is high in protein is and focused on clean foods then you will never experience the complete results of following a paleo meal plan. Still, this diet is hinged on you 'eating like a caveman ', denoting that you need to consume items that hail from the earth in a purest state.

For example, instead of eating an egg sandwich for breakfast, you would just consume the egg. Rather than adding milk to your coffee, you can drink it black, and instead of a steak and cheese sandwich you should only enjoy the meat. But this shouldn 't suggest that you will not be pleased when you go on a paleo diet, indeed you will be rather contented. The diet plan calls for a good deal of protein intake and this is a critical reason that so many people get good results when eating Paleo diet foods. Protein not only makes your stomach feel full, but it also causes your body to break down your fat cells. Basically, when you eat plenty of protein you will never feel hungry and your body will continually be working off of old fat cells.

For this reason, grass fed lean meat is big on the list of Paleo diet foods. When an animal is grass fed, they are able to eat the diet that their bodies are built to thrive on. So these natural nutrients are then into your body when you eat the meat.

Another important item on the paleo menu is organic fruits and vegetables. They are not only very flavoursome, but they are also full of essential nutrients. Many of us aren 't shown how to put together our fruits or vegetables. Rather we take in as little as possible as an afterthought to whatever we have for our main course. But for those of you on the Paleo diet, foods like these will come to be your new best buddy. For example, instead of having corn on the side of a bare burger, why not cut that hamburger into cubes and add it to a large tossed salad loaded with some great tasting vegetables?
