This is a good topic for me to write about. There are actually a few things and a few people that influenced me to pursue a paralegal degree. I have always liked the law field, but I always knew I wouldn't be able to manage the school to become an attorney. I also know that being an attorney is a very stressful job, so I figured that at least being a paralegal I would be able to still have the enjoyment of the law field in a different aspect. I am so excited to get my career going and experience what all is entailed. I would like to mention the few things and the few people that influenced me to become a paralegal.
An attorney that I am very close to influenced me to choose this career. Her name is Monique Brown-Barrett. She is a family law attorney in Jackson, Mississippi. I have worked in her office and got the feel for family law. She is a very hard working person and is very dedicated to her job. I look up to her in many different ways. She loves each and every one of her clients and does her best to give them everything they want and need. And of course that is in an ethical manner. She loves what she does and puts her whole heart into it.

Since I was able to work in her office and see what family law was all about, I knew then that was what I wanted to do. It is so rewarding to be able to help people that are truly in need. Most importantly, in most of her cases, it is to decide what is the best interest for the children that are involved. Seeing children being placed where they should be, and with the parents and/or family they should be with is so rewarding. In family law, there is never a dull moment. It will keep you on your toes and make you realize the most important thing about
I would also like to inform you that since you indicated that your dream was to be able to provide a “direct” service to impoverished clients who need advice on business contracts that also cannot be attained as being a paralegal means that you cannot advise your clients on any type of legal issues for that is the job of a licensed attorney. You may want to reconsider this career as it does not fully reflect your interests, instead, you might want to pursue the career choice of being a legal document assistant. As found in the California Business and Professions Code 6400 (c.) a legal document assistant is someone who provides self-help legal services to those individuals who representing themselves. These individuals are typically impoverished as they cannot afford an attorney to represent themselves in court or help them fill out specific documents. So by being a legal document assistant, you are able to those who are in need.
Her track record of work experience demonstrates her professional abilities while showing the dedication she has to ensuring that all children grow up in a just and equitable
However, the one thing that stood out the most was her beautiful welcoming spirit and her passion for serving others. During the interviewing while she goes on to talk more about her duties as a manager, of the office of CSI, she had a beautiful smile on her face. She sees her staff not as a team but as a family, and she said, “She is more than happy to help them with anything because she want nothing but for them to succeed in whatever they are doing.” She is very hands-on in the office she does not dictate instead she focuses more on helping her staff and direct in the right way to get their task done. Everyone seems to enjoy her company and love being around her, they do not seem to hesitate on asking her any questions regarding any officer matters, they really function as a family at the
She strives to create realistic and relatable characters who face challenges and overcome them with courage and
I have no doubt that she would be a rule of law judge that strictly interprets the law and does not attempt to legislate from the bench. She understands the needs for consistency as this is what provides attorneys and litigants with faith in our judicial system. In closing, while it would truly be a great loss to our firm if you were to appoint Carla to the bench, it would certainly be a tremendous gain for all of the residents of Wayne County. It has been a pleasure and honor for me to work beside such a tremendous person and I know that the other judges in Wayne County would feel the same way. The career I have chosen has to do with criminal justice. Criminal justice is something that 's always seemed to grab my attention. It 's something I feel I was born to be interested in. I really enjoy helping others in any way so I figured why not pursue a career as a probation officer. Not only will I be helping others, but I will be preventing an offender from repeating the same mistake.

Her unwavering ethical standards and commitment to transparency serves as an inspiration to everyone she interacts with. She consistently fosters an environment of respect, ensuring that everyone feels valued and heard. Due to her respect and recognition of everyone, she firmly believes in the power of diversity and inclusiveness. She actively promotes an atmosphere where everyone's unique perspectives and backgrounds are considered and embraced. When I was still new to my role and lacking confidence due to my limited experience, she encouraged me to speak up and pushed me to be more involved.
I am extremely interested in Law and the way it adjusts to society. Being able to study the novel “To Kill a Mocking Bird”, which was about a black man who was convicted of a rape scandal yet was innocent had been given no rights to defend himself, really opened my eyes as to how society was in the past and how it has gradually changed to give equality and justice to individuals. This is what initially led me to wanting to study Law at a higher level. Studying Law will allow me to achieve my career goal in establishing myself as a lawyer. I strongly feel that I would be well suited to a Law degree as I enjoy challenges.
I’m currently enrolled in the Leadership and Management track. When I previously selected this specialty I was working as a Director of Nursing/Administrator for a Home Health Agency, later on I decided to continue my education fulfillment but changing jobs. It is not very well defined for me if upon completion of my education I will look for a different job position or stay where I’m right now, where currently, there are not management opportunities. Nevertheless, I truly believe my education will take me to better places and open new doors for me. I currently work as a case manager.
What I plan to do with this degree is to hold a career in a work setting as a paralegal, lawyer, assistant, or even in a subcontractor work field. I came to this conclusion while looking for internships and jobs that aligned with what I love to do. In the first 3-5 years after graduating, I see myself working as a paralegal or a legal assistant. Since obtaining an internship job, such as being a subcontractor for the DOI, I have learned a lot about how an MLS can help bump up my applications in pursuing avenues of legal assistance. And a bump in my knowledge in the legal field overall.
In my assessment concerning the professionalism of Mrs. Perez, she is a character with a gift in counseling that makes her appropriate for a counseling job particularly the one that deals with women. Her counseling changes live and she has been able to assist many women to change for the better. From my experience with her, I feel like this is the best career for me and I have to pursue it by any means. The method through which she approaches things is the best and can be of significant help to many women with similar problems.
She is willing to turn everything into a creative expression of love for her family and
Its career recommendation was law. I had no plans to pursue an education in law when I began my undergraduate degree four years ago. I did not dream of law school as a child, nor did I experience a distinct, life-changing event that compelled me to fight for justice. Nevertheless, my undergraduate experiences were transformative. The phrase: “Helping others is the way we help ourselves” from Oprah Winfrey inspired me to choose this profession. Helping people solve their problems, giving them the opportunity to let off steam and share their feelings through confidential talks makes this profession unique and exceptional. I have abilities and values, such as: persistence, kindness, and loyalty, that are highlighted and essential to this job. Also, I have a plan that I will already start following it because this is what I want to be.
