I was born in Columbia South Carolina. I joined the Army in April 2009 and attended Basic Combat Training (BCT) at Ft Jackson, SC. After BCT, I attended Advance Individual Training (AIT) at Ft. Lee, Virginia. Shortly after AIT I was sent to Fort Benning, Georgia for Airborne school. During my career served as a Supply Clerk as well as a Supply Sergeant. My first assignment was with 2nd Brigade 1-325 AIR at Fort Bragg North Carolina for three years. PCS’d to 1-10th Special Forces in Stuttgart Germany for two years, and currently assigned to Dco Company 2nd Battalion 1st Special Warfare Training Group (SWTG). I deployed to Iraq for seven months during 2011 with 2nd Bridge and International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) missions to Afghanistan
Zach R. Endsley joined the Civil Air Patrol, a volunteer support organization of the U.S. Air Force, and belonged to the Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps at Oak Ridge High School. He was fascinated by

Colonel Willis A. Gorman is our commander. Alexandria, Virginia is where we are currently stationed. We are part of the Army of the Potomac. We fought at the Battle of Bull Run on July 21, 1861. It happened near Manassas, Virginia, and it was the first major battle of the Civil War.
My most recent assignment was with the 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment stationed in Vilseck, Germany. I served five years at that duty location, but in reality, only lived in Germany half that time due to my combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. My wife spent the entire time in Germany, half of which she was alone while I was deployed. Before my enlistment, I was an uneducated software developer.
If I had to choose one activity to pursue, I would go with activity number one: assistant at Drake Dental. I would choose this one primary because it involves helping others. “We rise by lifting others” is a quote that resonates with me as I believe strongly in its message. My job, while it may be insignificant compared to others around the office, involves helping others by making sure everything runs smoothly. Whether it be scheduling an appointment, or simply greeting the patient as they walk in, my job is to ensure that the patient feels satisfied with their dental experience.
I was born on a Navy base in San Diego a little before two in the mourning. I am the youngest with two older sisters Shauna and Cassie. We basically lived two-thirds of our childhood on military bases stationed throughout the United States of America. My father being in the Navy meant we moved a lot I have lived in New Orleans, Pensacola, and San Diego and finally we settled in Tomball, Texas which is thirty minutes away from Houston. I went to a lot of different schools during my childhood an sometimes we would move before the year is up which made it difficult for me in school.
In 1992, after serving an eventful initial contract, and what he recalls as being young and dumb he decided to get out of the Army. After four years of being out, he decided to join the Army Reserves. He Became a SG -E5, and his MOS Was Changed to 63B, a track vehicle mechanic. In 2003 was called back active duty to serve in Iraq. There he worked on chinooks, a job he enjoyed and was good at.
I have high expectations for my life, and plan on making a name out of myself, which requires my financial knowledge to be greater than many. My parents have been a crucial aspect in my life because even though they struggled in the beginning, they turned their mountain of debt and turned it into a beautiful life lesson, and they have taught me a great deal. Budgeting, managing money, and not relying on plastic is, in my opinion, key components in a financially stable environment. Difficulties tend to arise more often than we’d like, but knowing how to deal with this responsibility is a crutial.
I started attending Fork Union Military Academy in the sixth grade and have stayed throughout my entire high school career. To me, this in itself is a large accomplishment and is something I am very proud of. Every cadet goes through many ups and downs, I know in my seven years I have seen more than my fair share of trouble, but like my father always said, it 's not how you fall, but how you pick yourself back up. I made sure to do everything I could to show those around me, and to prove to myself, that I could pick myself up and accomplish anything. I faced and continue to face many different challenges in my daily life, those that every teenager faces, and also those that have been presented to me because of the kind of environment I placed myself in.
My next duty station was back in the states I was then stationed at Ft. Rucker, Alabama my company later deactivated. Prior to that, I re -enlisted for another four years. I was convinced to take my next duty station in Panama. Ft.
My father has always been in the military. He has been for 25 years now. I have been so lucky to stay in Yellowknife for 8 years, to be in one place for longer than 4 years. So lucky that my dad decided to choose his family over his job, put us first, and became a reservist in the air force. This means that he stays wherever he is, and doesn’t get posted anywhere else unless he wants to get moved.
The Fourth Battalion of the 27th Infantry As my father and I sat at the kitchen table, I assumed my dad, Scott Garland, would have somewhat serious responses for being in the Army for 6 years. As he thought about the military all of his life changing memories flooded back to him. He had been stationed in many places and remembered each and every one of them.
Being a Dental Assistant changed my view-point in healthcare, I have learned a lot being lead dental assistant. There have been many times in my career as a dental assistant, when I would learn something new, whether it was related to health field or learning something new from my peers. Just when had started achieving the experience in dentistry, I met a major accident, which had major impact on me. I was asked to take bed rest and was advised to not assist as a dental assistant, due to increasing pain in back. Therefore, I had to reconsider about my career planning and development.
I had no idea what I was doing at the age of 18 of I was ready for a change. My first Military Occupation Specialty (MOS) was an Engineer a 12 Charlie; Bridge Crew member. My first duty station was Korea. My leadership in Korea was phenomenal, the comrade between the soldiers in the platoon was that kind of a relationship between siblings that respected and cared for each other regardless of the misunderstandings. My supervisors respected the privacy of every soldier within the platoon, I was never a witness of a soldiers being bash by a supervisor in front of their peers.
It has been one hell of a ride, but I felt that it was best to move on from the Active Duty environment and try the civilian sector while maintaining presence in the National Guard. My Job that I learned in the Army was one of the most rewarding skills that I believe that I earned that is a Human Intelligence Collector. I will continue to do a similar job in the civilian sector that I did while I was on Active Duty. Currently I reside in Colorado Springs, CO at Fort Carson that was quite a change from the warm weather of sunny Florida compared to the snow infested state of Colorado. I decided to take this Popular Culture class because for one it just seemed like it would be
