Freedom. America 's gift to my generation. To be able to wake up every morning and do what I want, that is freedom. To step outside my front door and be able to chase my dreams and be what I want, that is freedom. To be whatever religion I desire, that is freedom. Here in America- especially my generation- we take our freedom for granted. People look at America as a happy, hardworking, free country. A country, that if you are diligent, you will be able to support yourself. America has given us so many chances but when will everyone learn to use them accurately. America is a very giving and generous nation. People have gone to war, risked their lives and died so that we are able to have a better life. They give up their privileges so that we can have them. …show more content…
Without it, we wouldn’t have the great lives that we have today. America 's history is what gave us freedom and what allows us to do whatever we want. If I want to be a doctor, I could be a doctor. I could be an astronaut if I want. I could be a teacher, a biologist, or an architect. The point is, that the job opportunities are endless because of the freedom that we have and the opportunities that we are given. America is not an animal locked in a cage, we can do whatever we like to do, whenever we

America, the land of freedom, opportunity, and heroism. This is America, an unlikely country born of bravery and courage. It’s beginnings were humble and small, but like all valuable things that were meant to be, it grew, beginning with a few struggling colonies in the New World under the rule of Great Britain, to a thriving nation. After years of sickness, hunger, and overall hardship, the colonists stayed strong, and pressed forward.
Several individuals from different ethnicities, races, and citizenships, compose a society. The United Sates allow us to have a close interaction with numerous individuals from diverse backgrounds. In my own case I have been able to interact with many incredible individuals from all over the world who come from extremely different backgrounds. I am a proud Mexican who cherishes respect towards diversity. Coming from a very suffered country I am able to understand not only what does it means to feel proud to be a Latino, but also I can feel acquainted with the pain and struggle that our community has to face every day.
What does it mean to be an American today? Or rather, what does being an American entail? Does that pertain to a certain individual’s perspective? Or is Americanism defined through a collective consciousness projected around the world? Over the course of time, Americans have gone through various embodiments of who they are, without loosing the essence of what they represent.
.America is the land of opportunity to many individuals. It gives people a chance to become who they really desire to be. That idea though, is not always true. What sometimes occurs is that people who want to become a true American make themselves believe that the only way to do so is by becoming powerful and losing the morals that they were taught. What has been ingrained in much of society is that if one does not do one of those things they are lesser than the ones who do.
It is very easy to take out country and or freedom for granted. For those of use that have always lived here and never seen anything different it is almost impossible to to fully realize how good we really have it. We were not given anything we have today however, it took an extreme amount of hard work and dedication by the leaders of our past. It is impossible to discuss how this country achieved what we have now today without talking about George Washington. Our first presidents, the man who really pulled our country together and helped lay the ground work that we still live by today.
Many different aspects of America are exceptional, especially when compared to other countries. America allows its people to strive for their own happiness. Freedom, is one of the biggest things that America has given to us. It allows us to be able to do things we do today. Sports, school being able to go and do those things is a privilege. Being able to go to college.
One of Americas Gift to My Generation is freedom. I think that all citizens in America should have the freedom to vote. We should also has the freedom of choice. Giuseppe once said “Love your country. Your country is the land where your parents sleep, where is spoken that language in which the chosen of your heart, blushing, whispered the first word of love; it is the home that God has given you that by striving to perfect yourselves therein you may may prepare to ascend to him.” America is free. Some reason that show we are free are.
We Americans take a lot of things for granted, running water, firefighters, police, military, shelter, food, college experience, family, safety from the biggest things to the smallest things, but mostly of freedom, to spend our money like we want
January 11, 2013, I wake up to yelling, prayers, and crying. I walked into the kitchen where all the noises were coming from and I found my mother on the floor crying, talking on the phone with my godmother. My father was there by her side, trying hard not to cry while supporting his wife. I didn’t know what was happening, this was the first time I’ve seen my mom so vulnerable and broken. My parents didn’t tell me anything other than my grandmother was in critical condition at the hospital, but with god's help she would overcome this hard time.
The American experience is an experience like no other. This country provides the freedom to do what you want to a certain extend. You can believe in the religion of your choice. There is a right to carry a licensed weapon for protection. In America you have the power to create your own path and strive to be whatever you desire within reason.
Freedom Anyone in the world with an occasional source of internet has no choice but to see the seemingly outrageous news stories, posted weekly on events in the US. American’s have made their distrust in the government more than obvious, which in many cases, the government has provoked. The largest debate in the states today is the with the concept of freedom and where the lines are drawn between social security, equality, and one’s rights. Freedom is and always has been heavily emphasized in the development of the 50 states. It’s brought peace and war both figuratively and literally.
America provides so much for people. In America, you have the freedom of speech, the freedom of religion, the freedom of press, the freedom of assembly, the freedom of petition, and so many more freedoms. But freedom comes at a cost. So many people sacrifice their lives so that everyone else can be free. It takes so much strength and so much courage to go into battle knowing that you may never return.
