My First Time in Disney World
Every child wants to go to the happiest place on earth, Disney World, and for my fifth birthday, I was one of the lucky children who was granted their wish. I remember my time in Disney like it was yesterday, yet it was day two of my trip that stood out the most. We rode the monorail to the Magic Kingdom. I thought the monorail must be what a rollercoaster feels like, even though we were going as slow as a snail. I saw the castle as we pulled in. It towered above everything I could see and it sparkled like a freshly polished diamond, I remember thinking, “That's where the princesses are.” And then we arrived.
Waiting in line to get into the park tested my already paper thin, four year old patience. The smell of

I ran up to her, screaming “Hello!” “Hello.” Wendy replied in a british accent. My parents rushed up behind me, like they appeared out of nowhere. “Would you like to take a picture with Wendy?” my mother said smiling. “Yes please!” I almost screamed. I went to stand proudly by my hero. She moved to put her arm around me but suddenly stopped. “I don’t like pirates very much and I seem to see you have one of their medallions.” She gently took my necklace and pulled it around to the nape of my neck, where you couldn’t see it. “There that's better.” Then we took our picture, both with giant smiles on our faces, mine the larger of the two. Finally we were once again on the move to Ariel's Grotto. Everywhere I turned I saw children like me, fascinated with everything around them. Once we found our way to the Grotto, I noticed a group of fountains that shot up from inside the ground. Other kids were jumping in and out of the water and their bubbly laughter filled the air. I tugged on my father’s arm asking to go play. “Sorry Bean, we have to go wait in line to meet Ariel.” I nodded my head head in understandment, I wanted to go meet the mermaid
During a telephone call to his mother to ask her for help baking bread she replies, “It’s so funny you called. I’m just working on a new series of water-buffalo-milk ice creams. You’d love trying them. Do come for a visit as soon as you can. I’ll show you how to bake anything in the world you like.”
Disney opened their first park named Disneyland in Anaheim California in 1955, in their quest to create the happiest place on earth. It was shortly followed by Disney world, which was constructed in Orlando Florida in 1971. The Magic Kingdom took 6 years to build, but Disneyworld will never be quite finished. On July 17 1955 when Disneyland had completed construction in just 12 short months.
Time marched on; I was almost finished with my first quarter of classes. Mike Newton remained my shadow while Alice despite all my qualms, became my best friend. Her parents - particularly her mother - were even growing on me. I had spent a considerable amount of time at their home, and was included whenever they visited and took Alice out to dinner, to shop or to see a movie.

‘’ Good morning and Happy Birthday Michelle!’’ said Gleefully and happily said the mother bearing a great shiny smile as she went to kiss Michelle’s cheek. ‘’You’re finally old enough to work with your father in the forge!’’ the mother now about to leave the room. Before she could go past the door frame holding the bedroom door, she says, ‘’ Also, your friend is waiting for you outside.’’ And closes the door making Michelle now the only one in her unorganized
It all started by deciding on where we wanted to go. At first we wanted to go to the beach. Our second choice was to go to Disney World. At the end we finally made a decision on where we were going. We were finally going to Disney World I would have preferred the beach just a little bit.
It felt like the ferry was taking as taking hours I couldn’t wait any longer I was bouncing up and down trying to be as patient as I could. Eventually after what seemed like hours the ferry had finally come in there was a slight breeze that blew the ears about on my goofy hat. When the bridge was lowered and the captain gave us permission to board I ran on and went straight upstairs to the front of the boat, I could see it in the distance the Disney castle this got me even more excited which made me start to jump up and down and then my Mickey Mouse sunglasses fell off my face and in to the water my mum shouted at me as I just got the sunglasses but I didn’t let it affect my day as I knew it was going to be one of the greatest days of my life. Once we got through the front gates I just stopped and it felt like the whole world around me froze it was just the feeling of being there I couldn’t quite believe it, it was just like I got told it was I could smell the freshly made sweet popcorn from the popcorn vans as I walked down the street towards the castle.
6 Flags Fun It took about 10 minutes of riding rides when Cameron said the most tariffing thing "let 's go on the Superman! " We went to Mom and Alissa then the Superman! To me the wait felt like 1 hour. Then I saw Cameron and Dad they went way up high and...
“I rung the doorbell, and she popped right at me. The landlady was like a jack-in-the-box. I pressed the bell—and out she popped! She made him jump quite a bit.” “I settled in and went to sign the book when I saw only two other names signed in.
My mother entered my bedroom and immediately her face widened in absolute shock. “What did you do?” I froze, panicked. I had been discovered. Twelve-year-old me was sitting on the bedroom floor when she had come in.
As the clock struck 6:45 we were all ready to start a new adventure. As we drove into Disney, we could see Cinderella’s Castle. After we parked the car we rode on the people mover that took us to Magic Kingdom. As we entered the gates, we all were really eager. We could see everything that there was to do.
Four years ago we went to Disney World just my family and me, we had so much fun that we decided we would go again in four years. We started planning the next trip almost immediately; we were all so excited to go back. It was not going to be just us this time; my aunt and uncle’s family would be coming with us this time. I remember waiting those four years, and they felt like forever. When it finally came time to start packing (three days in advance) we made sure to prepare for what we did not last time.
Eliza’s Memoir I play softball. It was All-Stars, and we were in first place at the moment. We had won three games, to London, Circleville, and another team whose name I can’t remember. It was the second to the last game, and our team was watching from some nice shade in the outfield (By the way, it was in the 90’s while we were there.
The ocean looked like an enormous pool of wonder. It was exceptionally blue that day with a slight green undertone. The surface looked as though it was covered with millions of diamonds crashing with the waves and kissing the sand. I remember the sand in between my feet, like standing on a coarse cloud that I could just seep into. The water teasing my toes and running back into hiding.
It was the seventh day and I saw my grandfather and dad talking my grandfather said the last word and they hugged I was so confused what was going on, but it stayed in the back of my mind the rest of the trip. On the tenth day we went to the Hollywood Studies. I rode a ride called the Tower of Terror it was one of the best rides I had been on in Disney it is a complete adrenalin rush. I also went on the great movie ride which is cool because you find out so much about old movies and I love it my sister didn’t like it.
