My first year of middle school was when music became a challenge for me. I had been playing the flute for three years and in those three years, music seemed to come to me naturally and I had no issue playing music that was put in front of me. Because I had been playing longer than most kids in my school, I was asked to join the honors band which was comprised of the best players in the school. The first day of official practice was when I encountered the piece of music that challenged me for months, Geneva by Timothy Broege. That piece of music was the first real challenge for me to play. Sight reading, something that I was not the best at in sixth grade, was hard for me to do. That issue was the reason I found myself being constantly yelled
Change is inevitable. It’s a potency no man can stand against, you can only adapt to the change, or else you’ll drown in a tidal wave of the unknown. People get complacent in situations, then the rug is pulled from underneath your feet, and you are now lying on the cold, hard ground. The most exuberant change that happened to me was during middle school, and I was completely blindsided, totally unprepared for what lay ahead of me. Seventh grade was phenomenal.
I was able to play what I heard. While learning several instruments, it gave me many opportunities to serve my school. I was given the opportunity to be the accompanist for the choir, play violin for the musical, and serve in the worship
Every student starting middle school has a conflict in making new friends the first days of school. Me myself also had problems making new friends because I was very shy. Fortunately I had one of my friends from elementary school. Although I'd love to tell you the way I made friends I changed over the year to survive middle school.
Looking back, it was one of the few things I put all of my effort into. I was just in sixth grade, and had just started my musical career with not so great of a clarinet. However, I was enlightened by my peers and teachers that I was talented. I had not been in many competitive activities, but in what I had attended I had always performed well.
It was first day of middle school, my mother used to pick me after school but now wasn 't able to so I had to start riding the bus. I 've never road the bus to my house before so I was scared. Once the bell rang for school to get let out I walked outside along with the other kids to find my bus, 210. I spent about 20 minutes looking for my bus
Music makes everything better, whether it is playing an instrument or just listening to other artists. I started playing violin when I was in third grade and switched over to the cello in seventh grade. There is a picture on my heart map of me and Sophia rehearsing for our first competition at solo and ensemble. The first teachers that I started both of my instruments was Sierra Gilman, who is now in college, and Ms. Bloom, my orchestra teacher. Ms. Bloom, inspired me the most though.
Middle school was an extremely rough time for me. I was bullied constantly. I was like the figurative punching bag of the school (I was never physically harmed). This eventually made me leave the public school system and go to a completely different Catholic High School. I picked the one High School in the area that nobody from my old school was going to.
Everyone has had someone close pass away. Well in my case, it was my best friend Ethan. He pass away in 2013 from a mistake by the doctor. I know that he always wanted me happy, but that wasn’t always the case when he first was gone. let me tell you about our mind boggling years with Ethan.
Getting through middle school was a tough time because I was bullied for what I believed in. However, now that I am more mature and older, I realize that surviving my past was actually accomplishment. My middle school life was the hardest time for me. I was new to the school.
Every once in awhile I look back on the first day I met Ryan. It was the day I entered Middle School. At the end of that first school day, I emptied my locker and realized I was carrying an armload of textbooks. This was the usual procedure for the start of any school year. Anyway, I started the walk home and noticed Ryan carrying even more books than I was.
In the duration of my middle school years, I maintained excellent grades, except I had just one issue that held me back from a satisfying life. That issue was the fact that friends came very hard to me in my middle school years. Before my struggles at my middle school, Trafton, I had a very productive social life in the Elementary school I attended, Roberts Elementary. Here, it was very easy to make friends and have a great social life, since no hard work was required as a kid. Middle school, however, was a great challenge for me.
The first day of middle school for me was both terrifying and exciting. I made a lot of new friends within the year. I remember the first day very well. I had woke up at 5;30 a.m. I was extremely tired.
The Life of a Middle Schooler I currently moved from 5th grade to the 6th. It was scary, but now it is fun. I am pretty sure I haven 't been late to a class, so I haven 't been put in detention and all. Let me tell you it does get a lot easier as you start to learn your classes.
I would never have thought walking into the cafeteria this morning, how much a signal mans words could impact and change me for the better. Dr. Fowlin’s words were like music to my ears; I could not stop listening to what he had to stay. He made solutions to my thoughts and worries. To be honest, before the assembly, I felt bad for those who do not fit in, but I never took action to make them feel welcomed. Once listening to Mikey, I realized I could do many simple things to make someone's day.
My love for music began in middle school. At that time, I was socially awkward and had few friends. To compensate, I buried myself in music. I learned to play the violin and bass guitar with immense resolve. I mastered scales, practiced arpeggio 's until my fingers bled, and meticulously studied great composers.
