This disruptive presentation has kindled a fire in me to become a technology leader like Adam, developing intelligent Machine Learning programs designed to mimic a human mind and teach computers to grow and change when exposed to new data. The limitless possibilities to innovate and the potential to revolutionize the work we do in the current digital age is what I find most appealing about computers and engineering.
My primary objective of applying for the OMS CS program at Georgia Tech is to lay a concrete foundation for shaping my career into a technical leadership role. The specialization in Machine Learning will be an ideal platform for me to innovate and be a pioneer of groundbreaking technology solutions to complex business and engineering challenges. At the age of ten being raised by minority parents was very difficult for me at the time. At the age of ten I was forced for my English and Spanish vocabulary to be very proficient due to always translating for my parents. At that age learning both languages was annoying, frustrating, and difficult; however that experience shaped me to be a proficient bilingual nurse present and gain benefits by being bilingual. The benefits where the many open job opportunities with the increase pay. This experience also assisted to raise my daughter to speak and write both languages actively although just not the way my parents forced it on me.
There is a lot to consider when pursuing a health profession. It has a wide variety of careers ranging from doctors to health administration. Health Care professions can be seen everywhere on the media from the popular show, “Grey’s Anatomy” to talk shows like the, “The Doctors”. This has exposed many to possible careers in the Health Field. However, in these shows and other portrayals has caused a misconception of what the health field is really about.
Having a Masters degree would not only improve my quality of life but will also assist me in reaching my career goal. I am applying for the Business management and leadership program because I would like to be an effective leader in mentoring underprivileged children. With this program, I will gain the knowledge and the ability to develop and to understand leadership and managerial skills in terms of its coursework, and research projects, while learning from a global perspective. The challenges I overcame, and the discipline I have developed, and the knowledge I have acquired makes me a good fit for this program.
At the end of this academic year I envision myself being a step closer to completing my B.A. and more aware of my leadership skills in my workplace. The people I would want on my team would be to make up for what I am lacking in. Since I like to come up with ideas and organize, I would want someone that inspires people and get them motivated to do what we all agreed upon. I also want someone that is that voice that would represent out group on a much bigger scale and they are comfortable in public speaking. I also want another person similar to me so we can share our results and compare to see what needs to be improved. Also to make sure everything is set to a priority and that everything gets divided up among team members, which everything will be completed by the given deadline.
Pharmacy is an interesting and constantly evolving healthcare profession that changes the way we view medications on a daily basis. Pharmacists, as healthcare professionals, are responsible for providing expert advice and consultation to patients about medications and answering any health-related questions. Ideally, a pharmacist would cater each medication’s dosage and intake amount based on a patient’s specific diet, activities, and other medication to best suit a patient’s needs and helps them stay as healthy as possible. Especially now, with the constant changes to the healthcare system and the evolving practice of medicine, a Doctor of Pharmacy degree has versatility in helping one obtain a professional career that suits one’s needs and motivations.

After analyzing all my academic materials, I show that I am a well-rounded student as I have participated in different research projects, extracurriculars, and internship experience abroad. I demonstrate that I am able to manage both my job as a peer mentor and on-campus leadership roles, as well as my rigorous classes in an equalized fashion. I am also able to show my initiative to take action in roles concerning things I am passionate about and try to solutionize problems when they arise. Although my academic materials highlight some of my strengths, I believe I can continue to take on more roles that can increase the competitiveness of my application. Currently, I am pursuing my master degree in Information Technology from CLU University. So far, I have completed three courses and secured GPA 3.6. The MBA program will help me procure solid hard-working attitudes that I will have the capacity to duplicate any place on the planet. I have over four years extensive work experience as Assistant Manager in AltirCo, which is a real estate company after completing my high school. Then I got a diploma in computer programming from New Horizon Computer Center.
My goal within the Business Administration field is to be in the top levels of management of a major retailer, and then move forward to owning my own business. With experience in a major administration position, I plan to use the knowledge gained and systems I develop to run my retailer in 10 years. As my Rational temperament is described by the Keirsey Temperament Sorter, “Masterminds usually rise to positions of responsibility, for they work long and hard and are dedicated in the pursuit of their goals…” (Rational Portrait of the Mastermind (INTJ), n.d.). I also am focused on efficiency which, in my opinion, is the basis for maintaining profitability in any business.
During the month of December 2016, I attended a Computer Science seminar at the University of Waterloo. Waterloo’s Mathematics faculty is globally recognized due to their exceptional learning experience and student success rate. However, it was only after I attended this seminar, partook in a few computer science lessons, and received a campus tour that I truly realized that this university was my ideal option. The field of computing and technology has continuously captivated my interest, thus explaining why my high school electives and activities/clubs have revolved around computing and business. I applied to Waterloo’s Computer Science & IT Management programs because computer science has become my passion and I wish to turn my passion into
