To the People of the State of South Carolina,
Our Leaders such as James Madison, Alexander Hamilton, Benjamin Franklin and George Washington have fought for our rights and an improvement of our situation by creating a new government. As a well-constructed Union consisting of thirteen great states, we have numerous advantages and we are able to eliminate obstacles among ourselves. Today I would like to persuade you that the new constitution makes us a stronger and greater state – not only for ourselves but for our posterity.

Preserve the independence and sovereignty of our states for their own is not incorrect, but doing it for a Union of all thirteen states is more preferable. All states together create additional security for all citizens, to …show more content…

Like James Madison said “…you must first enable the government to control the governed, and in the next place oblige it to control itself”. That means that we need the legislative branch, which is responsible for making laws, coining currency and declaring war. The executive branch led by the president of the United States enforces laws. And last but not least the judicial branch comprises a nine-justice Supreme Court and other federal courts, to interpret laws and determine how they apply to individual situations. (http://peopleof.oureverydaylife.com) This change contains not only the prevention of abuse of power as advantage, but also the creation of a national court system for legal equality and the creation of a central authority, which can resolve the disputes among our states. Disputes about trade regulations between our states will be eliminated and trade regulations with foreign nations can be taken over for all states in the
