Setting: The beach of the island
Characters: Ralph(a fair skinned boy), Piggy(the fat boy), Johnny(a very young boy), Sam and Eric(twins), Choir boys, Merridew, and many other boys.
Summary: Ralph along with a plane full of boys have just crashed on to this island, everyone is scattered, so initially Ralph and Piggy are the only two boys. The beach is very hot and the boys go for a swim in a lagoon. After there swim they find a seashell they can use as a horn. Slowly boys from all over begin to appear and all sit in front of Ralph as Piggy learns there names. A group of choir boys approach the group, with their leader being a boy named Merridew.

Setting: The island, the beach on the island, and a mountain on the island
Characters: Ralph, Piggy, Jack Merridew, Maurice, Johnny, Eric and Sam, Roger, Bill, Robert, Harold, Henry, Simon,
Summary: Ralph decide the boys should explore the island to make sure it truly is an island. Ralph, Jack, and Simon set off to explore the island with Piggy reluctantly staying behind. They climb up a mountain towards the middle of the island where they can tell they truly are

Simon is in the woods and sees the pigs head on stick, it then starts talking to him. He is supposedly the “lord of the flies” and promises Simon he is going to have some fun with the boys, Simon then faints. Simon awakens and stumbles up the mountain, where he finds the beast is actually the dead parachutist. He then goes as quickly as he can to inform the others. Ralph's tribe go to Jacks tribes party. Jack is like a king and gives many of his other boys orders. Jack gives Piggy and Ralph food. Jack then asks if anyone else wants to join the tribe and many do. It begins to rain, but Jack’s tribe begins to dance, and then spot a figure they think is the beast, they kill it. It was

The book is about boys who crash on a desert island. They have to find a way to survive until they get rescued. Ralph and Piggy meet each other after their plane crashed. They walk to the beach, wondering if there are more boys on the island. Ralph finds a conchs, and blows on it.
The were no adults on the Island because there was a plane crash on Island. And maybe, the parents of the characters didn't involve in an island. And the boys were looking and finding the right direction in a jungle and onto the beach. Ralph was quite rude to Piggy and he didn’t want to hear himself a “Fatty”. 2.
All of the boys life have fallen apart, and lives have been taken. The school boys, are not school boys anymore. The schoolboys have lost their innocence on the island. Many lives have been taken, the mama pig, Piggy, Simon, and almost Ralph.
The pigs head on the wooden stake is seen as an offering to the beast instead of what should have been usually a victory statement. Jack uses the fear of the beast to control the boys. It would appear that the boys cannot separate their civilized
His tight grip on the civilized world represents him as the adult like figure in Golding’s novel, which sets him apart from the others since the beginning. As the other boys are embracing and celebrating the freedom the island brings, Piggy’s constant references to his auntie and the rules gives the impression of a “mama’s boy”. As he explain to Ralph why he is not running to find the others, “ My auntie told me not to run. ”(Golding 9). The boys grow tired of his excuses and heavy dependency on adults who are not even there.
Stranded on a deserted tropical island, with no adults, was the time Simon, Piggy, and Ralph started their journey. Ralph and Piggy soon discovered a conch shell that summons a bunch of other boys on the island. They all decided that it would be best to have a leader of the group and they chose Ralph, but Jack was appointed to be leader for the boys going to hunt for food. Next, the boys decided how they wanted to send a signal in case a plane would fly over the island. Their conclusion was to keep a fire lit at all times.
A group of boys crash landed on an island, no adults just them. Sounds like fun right? That's what they thought, they discovered many hardships. They elect a leader, Ralph who with the help of piggy, the more realistic and intelligent one of the group. Piggy makes the rules and is always the one to come up with a logical and realistic plan.
Piggy on the other hand has glasses, younger than Ralph, has asthma, can’t swim, but has a lot of knowledge and used to live with his Aunt. Ralph and Piggy find a conch shell, when blown into makes a sound and that sound brought all the scavenged boys towards the shell. All these boys are younger than Ralph, they were are hungry, scared, lost and have mixed emotions on there surroundings. At this point, we meet another character names Jack, who is the head of a choir group. When Ralph was elected the

After a pig run with the hunters and Ralph, things seemed to fall apart quickly. Jack and Ralph have an argument which makes the kids choose between Ralph being leader and Jack being leader. This is where the strict bold lines of civility and savagery appear. The kids in Jack’s tribe were chanting and making a dance around the fire, they accidentally kill Simon thinking he was the beast. Ironically, Simon was going over to them to tell them there is no beast, since he just finished having a hallucination of the pig head speaking to him naming himself ‘The Lord Of The Flies’.
The first boy who we hear many speeches from is Ralph, he and Piggy are the first two boys we read about on the island, and since the beginning of the book Ralph has been a
Piggy is very intelligent, he comes up with ideas on how to help the boys survive on the island from the moment they crashed on it. Ralph starts begins to admire him for this clear focus on their rescue off the island. “ we can use this to call the others. Have a meeting. They'll come when they hear us” (Pg 16)
On the island, the boys are continually arguing, especially when a rift occurs between the group of boys. One example of Piggy’s effort to resolve the problems boys have is when Ralph goes to Castle Rock to confront Jack. Piggy helps Ralph by repeating, “‘Ralph remember what we came for. The fire. My specs.’
One of the main characters, Jack, starts to become a dictator and he has the need for power and control in the story and he uses fear to control the other boys in his tribe. By now almost all of the boys are with jack and in his tribe except Ralph, Piggy, and SamnEric. Eventually SamnEric switch tribes and go to Jack out of fear and it’s just Ralph and Piggy left. They decide to go talk to Jack and try to talk some sense into him and Piggy ends up dead. Just Ralph is left and Jack sends his tribe on a hunt for him and while there doing that they run into
