The town of Port Orford could benefit from a new park. At this park I think it would be a cool idea to make separate sections for different types and ages of people. This could give the diversity for a large majority of the community to enjoy together. It would be a nice and fun place for everyone to enjoy and use. For instance for the younger children and pre-teens I would suggest a playground. The things I would include in this playground would be swings, playground structures, and a sandbox. For the teenagers and adults alike you could put in a variety of fun things. Some examples of such could be a basketball court, tennis court, mini golf, baseball field, soccer/football field, skate park, or even a dance studio/gym to name a few. …show more content…

This would really have a lot of great helpful uses. In ways this could benefit every age group young to old. Everyone loves to enjoy a nice dip every now and then. This could help older people and disabled people alike. Swimming and aqua aerobics are beneficial to physical therapy or just staying in shape in general. Kids also love to swim and would get endless hours of enjoyment out of this. Also not to mention all of these promote exercise and good healthy long lasting habits. They also do other great things like help you achieve a nice healthy and fit lifestyle. Not only that you can meet fellow members of your community. Not to mention you can create great healthy friendships with others. These friends of yours you make will also have mutual interests and hobbies. Who knows they could end up being life-long friends of yours. I believe this is a great idea if you look at all the positive features. This is something that will last long enough for your kids and their kids to enjoy also. The community could apply for grants and do fundraisers to help pay for these items if needed be due to lack of community funds. Also the people who have the vision of what this could do for fellow towns people may incite donations of some type.
