The Declaration of Independence, Good Or Bad? The Declaration of Independence was just signed as most people should know, but what most people don't know or haven't decided is whether the Declaration is good for us and will lead to a great positive country or is it bad and not work out for us as a country. This a big decision to step away from The British Empire and try to make it on our own. What I say here and now am that I strongly believe that The Declaration of Independence is great for us as a country. There are many reasons why I say this. This piece of very important paper will affect us, and how we live in so many ways. The Declaration of Independence is great for us and here are two reasons why. We will be free from Britain and their horrible dictatorship, and we get to make our own free government. What this Declaration of Independence did basically is give us our own freedom from The British Empire and let us be our own strong country. We can now make our own choices to change how we live and progress forward to become stronger and stronger. No longer being told what we can or can't do by Britain and making our own choices. We can now have president making important choices and changing our country. We will also no longer have high taxes from the British. Now we make our own rights and rules with all this new freedom. All of us can now vote, for which great person is going to run this great country of ours and build it up doing our own thing away from Britain.
