For this project, I decided to combine my love of drawing, baking, and nature in order to create a drawing representing my metaphorical journey. In this piece of artwork, The waterfall symbolizes my progress over the school year and how it has created multiple “rabbit holes” in which I have jumped in in order to get to where I am today. My journey, like when eating a cake, started out on the highest and smallest tier and ended at the largest tier on the bottom. Through this, you can see that as I went on my journey my horizons widen, there are more contributing factors to my life, and things get more complex, as well as a lot more interesting. Also, my development over the past school year is represented by the changing of the animal, as well as the habitat that is placed in on every tier as the journey progresses. …show more content…
In this section, the frog represents my mental, as well as my physical state during the summer of 2017. In my drawing, the frog is just sitting there, surviving off the occasional bugs that fly by, drifting comfortably with the slow, calm currents. In this pond, it is from harm and provided everything that I need and want with little to No work required or expected of it. In its laziness, the frog is inevitably pulled in by reality towards the waterfall that leads into a different ecosystem. Similar to this, as the end of summer came to an end, the almost uncontrollable fate of becoming a 7th grader was becoming more and more real to

Achievements this week: 1. The Fortegra files that Ross asked me to compare with Provyde litigation files were not getting appended to an Access file due to the volume of the data. This required me to export the two million records to Excel file and split them in 20 Separate individual sheets. The analysis required me to model a master spreadsheet with formulas that could automate the comparison between the two. 2.
In the second model our dummy variable membership in the EU was substituted by the dummy variable membership in the economic and monetary union and therefore we want to investigate whether it is advantageous to be a member of the Economic and Monetary Union or not. Now we denote year by t and country by i and use the following estimation for our basic model: lnfdiit = β0 + β1(wages)it + β2(lnpop)it + β3(lnpatent)it + β4(gdp_growth)it + β5(lnelectric)it + β6(openness)it + β7(unemployment)it
We work with a Boolean Language whose basic symbols are $\vee,\wedge,\neg,\Rightarrow$ endowed with a finite set of atoms $\mathcal{A}$. The set of literals, $\mathcal{L}$, is the set $\mathcal{A}\cup\{\neg p|p\in\mathcal{A}\}$. A pair formed by a literal together with its negation is called a conjugated pair. Here we give the (classical) definition of valuation over a Boolean formula. That is the definition we will use henceforth. \begin{definition}\label{BOOLFOR:def}
M2 - Explain the fundamental principles which have been applied to the designs I have created an interactive HCI which has a lot of colours, I have made sure the colours used don’t clash and that they are easy on the eye for everyone, so the black writing on the blue background can be read easily without any Struggle. The buttons down the left hand side of the page are perceived as being together because they are all the same size, they all rectangle shaped and the text is all the same size apart from the language changer as the text is too big for the box size.
On closer inspection you see the heavy handed brush strokes on the rock in which your eyes are drawn there first and there appear to be seals and perhaps the artists name or the name of the painting written in the bottom right corner. Your eyes then travel up the deer’s legs in which some parts of the legs are not seen because of the thickness of the mist. On the right side of the deer there are sprigs of grass and pieces of rock projecting out of the ground. Your eyes are then drawn to the delicately brushed ink that makes the fur on the deer appear soft, and the outline of the antler that is closer to the viewer is darker than the one on the right also the ear is place in front of the antler for yet another natural touch. The spatial relation of the deer is superb with the rock placed in the foreground, the deer is in the middle ground and although very small compared to the rest of the composition the patch of rocks and sprigs of grass are there for the background it all brings a sense of depth to art
Tree frogs alone make you wish for earplugs.” (Kidd, p.173.) Lily’s tone in this passage screams teenage sarcasm. It displays that she is young and playful, which most kids are at fourteen. Lily’s narration brings heart to the story and demonstrates the author’s strong ability to write for different age groups, and realistically depicting them.
In session 13, the young adults will learn the basic skills on how to resolve disagreements with their friends and romantic partners that are common among young adults. The young adults are expected to do each step of how to respond and bring up disagreements so that they can effectively resolve conflict with others. In this session, the therapist will help the young adults to understand that disagreements and disputes, especially those that are occasional are common and it should not be a reason to end their relationship and friendship. Young adults will also learn that there are two types of position that they might be in in a disagreement, which is either someone is upset with them or they are upset with someone. If someone upset with them,
A journey is a voyage leading to the discovery and transformation of one’s self through the experiences and challenges that confront an individual. This journey may arise circumstantially, however, the destination of the journey depends on the individual and the decisions they make. On the contrary, some journeys do not lead an individual to a monumental transformation, instead these journeys may be cyclical and more self-reflective in nature. These notions are explored thoroughly through the use of several literary and poetic techniques in David Guterson’s novel ‘Snow Falling on Cedars’ and Rosemary Dobson’s poem ‘Cock Crow’. Both texts provide insights into the nature of journeys and how the influences of journeys on individuals may differ.
I was tasked by Pauline to create a production flow chart for project 714, 758 & 908 under the UAV production. I was provided with a flow chart that was used previously for each project to come out with a better and easy to understand flow chart. I had to refer to various documents such as the CID, Capability List and the BOM to know the various components that are in the UAV parts. The purpose of creating the flow chart is for Milgate to put up the flow chart of each module being assembled at their assembly area in the company. Project 714 is a project where the UAV manufactured are datalink variant.
The effect that humans have on the natural world and the creatures that inhabit it is also largely unknown to them. The journey of the rabbits is also a metaphor for the course of existence. The choices we make can have a significant effect on both our lives and the lives of those around us. Just like the rabbits, we all encounter obstacles and challenges along the way.
Summer Is Over Everything is going to come to an end. Love ends in hate, life and in death, and innocence ends in maturity.
This additional difficulty added yet another hurdle to the challenging transition from childhood to adolescence. The day Mr. Turtle stayed in the backseat was around the time I realized that everything in life is a choice. I realized I could be happy, if that is what I chose; I realized I could be a good person, if that is what I chose; and finally and most importantly I realized that I did not need to worry about what I could not do because of my condition, but rather focus on the things that
The archetype used in my visual would mainly be “The River”. In this archetype, it represents the journey that a person may take, in my visual I wanted it to be a symbolic representation of my journey by overcoming certain obstacles. Finally, the multiple colors that I used in this visual were black, white, blue, brown, and green. First of all, the color white that was used to border around almost all of the objects in this visual including; the flower, and the watering can. This portrayed the hope that I had to keep me going strong through the hard times in my life.
In the end, my fascination with drawing only escalated further. Each drawing described me of who I was, who I am, and who I will become. My drawings are a part of me; my energy and years of commitment bound to the fibers of the paper. They tell the narrative of my life through every line, every one filled with purpose, and shadows, all etched with a new motive. Each vibrant color depicts my emotions in that part of myself.
